I hosted a bridal shower at the Cheviot house this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The food worked so great because of the kitchen! We had about 25 people and there was plenty of room. Ming went above and beyond to make sure the set up was exactly how I wanted… I barely needed any decorations because the space is so beautiful on its own. Will be absolutely be using again!!!

I was looking into the cheviot house thinking it would be perfect for my baby shower. Sadly the communication was not there. I requested a date and never heard back I even sent an email a week later, still didn’t hear anything back. My husband and I decided to call to see what was going on. Owner answered and was nice on the phone. She claimed she called and left a voicemail that I never received. Then continued to say she would send me an invoice and never did. Also website state it fits 40-49 people on the phone she told me it fits only 38. Very disappointed and ended up choosing somewhere else since the lack of communication.

This place is top tier! From the service to the event space! Simply beautiful! I recommend this place to everyone! You won't regret it. It's clean the decor and layout is amazing. Ok venue. Not sure it's "elegant" as advertised. The chandelier was on then flickered as if there was a short in the wall. Killed the ambiance. Difficult to keep our logo on the TV because the remote needed charged. Did the job but nothing to rave about.

I threw my friend’s bachelorette party there and it was the perfect venue! The place is cute, clean and has all the amenities to throw a great party. I highly recommend The Cheviot House for any event.

This place is sooooo amazing! Our family was blown away when we had my mom repass there after her funeral. It was beautiful and the lady who helped us Ms. Ming was so professional and gracious to our needs for a hall. Every thing was so elegant and professionally handled. This venue will definitely be getting more business from me and my family and friends in the future!
