Capt.Stoney was great fished for two days in cold weather but he put us on the fish .he is extremely knowledgeable about his home turf erie, and shared his knowledge with us as well.he made us feel welcome aboard the drifter we will be back next year thx stony was a blast!!!!

We recently hired Erie Drifter for a walleye charter out of Oak Harbor and couldn't have asked for a more professional charter. Leading up to our scheduled day Capt Tom was very responsive to calls and emails. We originally went out on Father's Day 2014, but unfortunately the 5' waves that day were too much for my wife's stomach. A half hour into the trip and Capt Mark offered to rebook us for a calmer day if we covered the gas for that day. Having done other charters in the Gulf, I've never encountered a captain so dedicated to making sure his guests had a good time.

We rebooked for the following Saturday, and had perfect conditions. Sunny but not too hot, 1' waves, and good times. Mark kept all the lines in order and the action coming. I've never seen my son so excited for fishing - we may have a walleye nut hooked for life 🙂 We came home tired and happy with a cooler full of tasty fish. Next time we're up for some walleye, we're going straight to Tom and the Erie Drifter crew!

Great time! New year new captain same results. Captain Drew was excellent. My 11 year old sons first time and Drew helped him and put us on fish. Great time I'll be back next year. Erie drifter and the guys are top notch. 2nd year with this crew and i will only go to Erie Drifter as long as they are here.

3 days in a row 6 guys limited out. Unbelievable fishing with Captain Tom. Top notch equipment, fantastic lodging and a great time had by all! As long as Erie Drifter is on Lake Erie we will fish with them... I’m editing this review a year later to update everyone on just how great this outfit is! For Lake Erie charter fishing in the Oak Harbor/Port Clinton area there is no substitute for Erie Drifter Sportfishing! We just
caught 94 walleye in 3 days and threw in a few nice perch and a big old catfish for good measure! Capt. Tom Strauss delivered as usual on our first day and after he handed the reins over to Capt. Stoney King we didn’t miss a beat. We were limited out and cleaning fish while enjoying a few beverages by 9 am on our second day and by 10 am on day 3. 13 years we been coming up here as a family and we have never been disappointed. Big thanks to Tom and Stoney for a truly memorable trip on the lake. See you guys next time!

Really enjoyed the experience with Erie Drifter. Captain Troy really did an awesome job putting us on the big walleye. We limited both trips we came up. I will be booking with Troy again next season for sure! We are already planning a 2 day trip for next year!

Both Captains Stoney King and Troy Wickman are great guides. Hard working and very knowledgeable. Captain Troy is an especially patient and a good teacher. We had no wind to drift the second day. Captain Troy set out the planners and was a great teacher for my wife and I both as to how it works!
The lodging is wonderful for bird watching off the deck.
Lodging is clean, comfortable and close to the dock. This was my first trip with them, I will be back. My wife and I both had a great time!
Thanks Troy and Stoney! We’ll see you guys this fall and next spring!

We had an excellent time fishing with captain Stoney he put us on the fish and we caught our limit within 4 hours. Both Tom (the owner ) and Stoney were very kind and extremely professional and knowledgeable. I have been out with several different charter company's none of which compare to Erie drifter. I am looking forward to building a relationship for many years to come with these guys they are the real deal give them a try if you are looking for a great experience on the water
