From check in to check out every employee we encountered was pleasant, professional and went above and beyond. It was our first visit to this resort and it won’t be our last. Our oceanfront room was remarkable. We really enjoyed the pool and its employees who couldn’t do enough for us. We actually extended our stay because of the great time we were having. We also enjoyed the lounges in the hotel which let us have the choice to enjoy a cocktail inside or outside on the patio. The location was also very good, across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants.

From the moment I arrived, the level of service at this resort exceeded all expectations. Every team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay unforgettable.||A special shoutout to Harris, the Assistant General Manager, whose presence and leadership were felt throughout our visit. He checked in on us personally, ensuring everything was perfect. We were treated like true royalty. He is the best of the best.||Ricky at the pool was fantastic . He was attentive, kind, and always ready with a smile. He made relaxing by the pool an absolute pleasure and went above and beyond to make sure we were and taken care of. ||Every time I'm at the Opal Grand, Michael at the front desk exceeds my expectations. He is warm and welcoming from the start. This is your go-to guy. He is pure hospitality at the finest. ||Lastly, I can’t forget wonderful Robin at the gift shop, who constantly carries a smile on her face and always brings such a lovely energy.||As someone who works in hospitality, I know that beyond the amenities, it’s the people who truly make a stay memorable. Our stay at the Grand Opal Oceanfront Resort & Spa in Delray Beach was exceptional! We were there for a wedding, and the facility was breathtaking. The sensational service provided by our receptionist, John Diaz, was phenomenal. When we arrived, John greeted us warmly and made us feel at home. His professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect.||||John answered every question, offered recommendations, and assisted with everything we needed. He made our stay seamless. Thanks to John’s outstanding hospitality, we felt appreciated, at home, and extremely grateful. We highly recommend the Grand Opal and especially want to commend John Diaz for his amazing service. We will definitely come back!

The Opal Resort is fantastic, accommodations were superior. The oceanfront room with a balcony was beyond beautiful. The food and service at Drift were above expectations and we returned for dinner every night. It was that good! Breakfast at the Monkey Bar was quick and delicious - the waffles are perfect. Cascade food and pool - fantastic. We never needed to leave the property. Opal has everything and anything that we wanted. Looking forward to our return trip. This was our second trip to Delray Beach, FL, but our first time staying at the Opal Grand Resort and Spa. This is the place to stay in Delray Beach! The Resort is beautiful and clean and is right next to the beach. It has everything you could want for a relaxing wonderful vacation. The pool is great and while we didn't have time to enjoy the spa, just walking past it was a treat - beautiful aroma. We attended a wedding at the Opal Grand and it was stunning. The food was amazing. We had the BEST time!

Can’t say enough about our stay at The Opal Grand! From the valet to the front desk…..the cleanliness and efficient layout of the room….each and every employee was kind, friendly and considerate. Daniel at the pool was tremendous. Food and service at the Monkey Bar and Drift were outstanding. You have clearly won us over into the Opal admiration club! Looking forward to next time!

I had been to Opal for an event once before - this time since the event was again at Opal I decided to indulge and stay at the property this time rather than nearby. From arrival to departure the service was everything you can expect. Depending on your arrival time and day the valet area may look impossibly packed but do not worry, the bell and valet staff are prompt, friendly and careful with your belongings and vehicle. The bars and dining staff are about the friendliest in south Florida in my opinion. I've stayed at any number of other top tier properties here and around the world and I put Opal high on my list of properties to return to if not as much for location (which is as good as it gets in Delray) but for the service.

Our experience at The Opal in Delray was made exceptional thanks to Georgina at the front desk. After a frustrating stay at another hotel nearby, we arrived at The Opal last minute, tired and disappointed. Georgina welcomed us with genuine warmth and professionalism, and quickly turned our day around.

She went above and beyond to find us a beautiful room on short notice, and her accommodating attitude made us feel instantly at ease. Her kindness, efficiency, and attention to detail truly stood out, and we’re so grateful for the care she showed us.

Thanks to Georgina, what started as a stressful trip turned into a memorable and relaxing stay. The Opal is lucky to have her, and we’ll definitely be back.
