Very clean, smelled good, attendant was actively polishing the counter tops to the welcome desk and he was very nice. Kudos to him and all of the staff who keep this place this nice. Lots of outdoor seating areas and a walking path I presume to get you to the animal rest area. Plenty of parking and vending as well.

Clean and spacious with lots of green space and many parking spaces in the front for cars. Large trucks fill the spacious back parking lot. Both open and covered picnic tables. There was an attendant there during the night. Seems safe.

This is the nicest rest area I’ve ever been to. There is lots of green space and parking for cars and semis. The facilities are impeccable, super clean and modern. Normally I try to avoid rest areas at night but there was nothing else open. I was surprised to see an attendant at 2 AM!

I do miss the rocket! But, having said that, the new Center is well done. The open space design is more welcoming and accessible. The Information Center is well stocked with information to inform both tourists and residents alike. It's a beautiful welcome home. But, again, I do miss seeing the rocket!

This is a very nice welcome center! It's probably one of the cleanest and most sophisticated welcome centers I've ever seen, and I've stopped at a variety of them during my travels across the United States. Great job, Alabama!

Nice rest stop with clean, but dated, toilet rooms. There are a few snack/drink options, but I have never used the machines. Always beautiful grounds with some lush plantings. Makes for a softer stop on I-65. The big rocket, for me, is a detractor, but I guess that's what might push people to the space museum.

Best welcome center for everyone and age. Parking for Small to large RV. Bathroom area is usually a 5min wait time. I have never seen so many visitor brochures. Take a pic as an astronaut (cut out). Can't miss the space shuttle!
