Bucket list halibut trip with Captain Grayson! Beautiful day, great spot, and funny and personable bedside manner. He did all the hard work so we could fully enjoy our trip. And on top of that he has a ton of knowledge about the local area and we had a great time thanks to him.

Tony was amazing. Even shared stories of his private vacations when he learned we wanted to go to Africa next. Halibut weren’t biting that day but he made sure we moved spots till we started catching fish. Rained all day but we still had a blast. These are small boats so it was nice having the boat all to ourselves and getting all the focus.

Fishing with Grayson in Ketchikan was hands-down the highlight of our trip to Alaska!! From the very start, Grayson created the best vibes
-he's both kind and funny, and also completely dialed into the experience. He knew exactly where to go, and sure enough, we landed some gorgeous halibut! The scenery was unbeatable-but what really made it special was Grayson's energy. He made everyone feel welcome, like we were out on the water with an old friend who happened to be a total pro... If you're headed to Ketchikan and want an unforgettable day on the water, Grayson's your guy. I can't recommend him enough.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Grayson. On the way out, he spotted some humpback whales as well! Weather and seas were a little rough, but he still put us on the fish! Couldn’t recommend Captain Grayson more! Great trip and would definitely come back

Ketchikan’s Finest is absolutely the way to go!! We had a lot of fun and a lot of success with Captain Lukas!! Lukas is a skilled guide, has a ton of experience, and is vibrantly passionate about what he does. He is no B.S. and works hard to get this clients into the fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this charter, which is hands down the best I’ve been on anywhere, and plan to come back year after year. The boat is pristine and very comfortable to ride in and the scenery for this charter is unbelievable. Not only did we catch more fish then we could have hoped for, we saw whales, seals, eagles & so much more.

We had an amazing day out. The knowledgeable guides put us on some red hot action right from the start. We started the day early and quickly got our limit of halibut. Then we did some amazing rock fishing and got our limit of that as well with some bonus fish along the way! This is my third time out in Ketchikan and can honestly say today was the best fishing we’ve had yet, and I attribute that all to the great guides and operation running out of Ketchikan’s finest fishing charters. They are very accommodating and will put you where you need to be to get some of the best fish meat the ocean has to offer. As a cherry on top, we soaked some crab pots while we were out fishing and pulled up some great dungenous crab on our return, which was an experience in itself! If you are debating booking a fishing trip in SE AK, look no further. This will be a trip for the books!!
