I can’t recommend the Anchor Inn by the Sea highly enough. We have been staying every year for more than ten years, and we will be going back for years to come. Every suite we have stayed in is like home away from home, with amazing water views. We have seen lots of wildlife, including whales, right from the room.
The kitchens are well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The location is minutes from town, a grocery store is even closer.
All accommodations are comfortable, with interesting decor, appropriate to the area.
If we ever encounter a difficulty, the owners always do whatever they can to resolve the issue.

Working with Mary, Alaskan Travelers Accommodations in Ketchikan , was top notch. I will definitely use her again. Our housing at Captain Morgan’s beach House exceeded our expectations. It has fabulous views of the water and mountains; so peaceful and serene, and it’s only 5 minutes to the best bear viewing area. Just minutes from the hustle & bustle of Ketchikan; yet provides the perfect Alaskan setting and experience. I can’t emphasize it enough, this is a 10 out of 10. Judy, Austin Texas

Completely amazing experience! We feel so lucky to have found Alaska Travelers Accommodations. Mary was so kind and helped us feel right at home. The private apartment was comfy and clean with beautiful access and views right on the water. We saw eagles, otters, seals and whales. We would totally choose it again and again. If you’re looking for options of places to stay in or out of Ketchikan, Alaska Travelers is the absolute go to.

Mary and her team did a wonderful job finding us a last minute home for my family to come back to Ketchikan. Large spaces for families are scarcity during the summer and especially last minute! Mary was able to come thru. We greatly appreciate you.

Enjoyed our stay so much at this property. The perfect home away from home. It was immaculately clean very spacious and comfortable throughout. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms had fluffy towels and nice toiletries. The view out the full back picture windows overlooked the ocean with spectacular scenery which was delightful. We also enjoyed sipping wine on the patio overlooking the ocean and grilling our fresh salmon on the gas grill. We loved having a slower pace and relaxation that this property afforded since it was a few miles out of downtown. Our host was readily available to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in Ketchikan

We were searching for lodging in Ketchikan, AK. We came across an agency called Alaska Travelers Accommodations. I called & spoke with Mary, who is in charge of the entire operation. She was knowledgeable, professional, friendly & extremely helpful. She offered us many options, & we booked a wonderful house the very next day. I give Mary & her agency 5 stars & highly recommended contacting her for any vacation rentals in the Ketchikan area.

This is my second time using Alaska Travelers Accommodations for a stay in Ketchikan. The first was back in 2010 and was for an extended stay of about a month, and it was such a positive experience that it was an easy choice to use ATA again in 2024. The properties available are fabulous, and a great way to stay in Ketchikan that is different from your typical hotel experience. Highly recommend!

My wife, Terri, and I flew into Ketchikan from Reno for a week vacation at the Heckman house. Great location close to shopping, fishing charters, dining, nightlife and the view was incredible.
