Took this tour to explore the area. The bus ride was ok, they took us to a decent beach and a nice water fall. Unfortunately the tour didn't match the price. $118 for 2 people was way to expensive for what they provided. The driver was super nice.

Stopped in Ketchikan from our cruise. Wandered into the Visitor’s bureau to see what we might do. Saw this trolley tour. 118.00 for the tour for two people for 90 minutes. Disappointingly, it wasn’t on a trolley- it was on a run-down school bus- wasn’t told that until we were outside when they were showing us where we were supposed to get on it. Said trolley wasn’t available. In looking at the reviews, it is apparently not available a lot. Stopped at a park—Saw nothing, was told to go look at the hatchery- you could peer over a fence but nothing to see there. Drove through the Totem Park area, only a drive by. Went to Herring Cove next - Didn’t see any wildlife (not their fault). This is the wildlife viewing area. Sound system on the bus was terrible as well. Driver was nice. You would be better served walking around Creek Street and going to the Salmon Ladder on your own. It would be hard to recommend.

Cruise ship guests beware. We jumped on this tour when our other tour got cancelled due to weather. This is simply a very pricey ride out of town to an area where there are sometimes salmon, eagle, bear. The windows were so foggy we couldn't see anything along the way. The driver was cranky (bitter, harsh) and called other tourists idiots several times. She also brought up politics which really turned me off further. Way too much to pay for a quick ride.

A ripoff. We rode out of town with a super cranky driver who yelled at the customers and complained about her boss. We hiked 40 minutes to a creek and a beach. Not a trolley tour like you’d expect. The ticket office never told us we’d be off the trolley in the rough more than we’d be on the trolley. Several seniors were not able to walk the whole tour. They definitely saw us coming.

Seriously the worse experience of our entire Alaska trip.

My husband, kids and I rode on their rickety, dirty bus / trolly tour during our trip to Ketchikan, AK. We stopped 3 times parked along busy roadsides (see attached pic of my husband and son standing on a busy road with the totems off in the distance) and looked at nothing while traffic zoomed by. My kids, my husband and I tried to stay close enough to the guard rail so we wouldn’t get run over. We stopped and viewed the salmon hatchery from the property border through a chain link fence and saw groups of real tour companies on a nice boardwalk that we weren’t allowed to go on. And I asked. We saw a few eagles, same as what we saw in town but not one fish. We knew it was time to get back on the bus when he honked at us. The worst part was there was no commentary from the driver who is from Nigeria and seemed to know nothing about Ketchikan. What he did say, we couldn’t understand. I’ll never get that 90 minutes of my life back.

After the “tour” we went back to the office at 4:30 to ask about a refund and they were locked up for the night (although they don’t close until 7:00). No one answered the phone. Just gone. We’ve called many times since without one answer and we believe they blocked my husband’s phone number.

We’ve started the process to dispute the charges on our credit card. We want our money back.

The "tour" was on a school bus, not a trolley so the seats sucked & windows very quickly fogged as well as the diesel smell being overwhelming. It was not narrated (except the driver naming the few parks & coves we drove by), the totem village area had a small fee to go inside & since the $50 tour fee didn't cover the $5 entry fee, no one was allowed off the bus. There was no wildlife (tho I don't blame the tour for that, any tour that promises wildlife is lying), it was simply "drive by a stream & stop at the public road turn off for a salmon hatchery."
Over and over, I heard people mutter about the poor quality. Here's hoping I saved you $50.

Do NOT waste your $$ with your company. Bus with "cushioned seats" is a rundown school bus with windows that get stuck open or closed. Driver is from Nigeria and we couldn't understand his accent. He also didn't tell us anything about the area
"Private Beach" is a tiny little rocky area with a disgusting Porta potty. We felt absolutely scammed.

This a terrible tour company taken advantage of a beautiful land. Over price $55.00 just to drive to a local river. Horrible and uncomfortable transportation, very unsafe. Driver / tour guy very pushi and demonstrate lack of knowledge of the local culture.
