We had an amazing trip despite the worst weather possible, running the downrigger through the kicker prop, and catching almost no fish due to weather. Despite that, we had a blast, Rick and family were amazing, the lodge and boat were perfect (except for the self inflicted part).

I have done guided fishing trips in various locations in North and Central America, so I have some experience in this industry. Rick is the one guide I seek out every year when I go fishing in Alaska. His intimate knowledge of the fish and waters around Ketchikan, is unmatched. I have been on 8 or 9 trips with him as a guide, and my friends and I limit out on our fish species nearly every time.

Definitely recommend. I’ve taken my kids fishing with Rick for the last 5-6 years. Excellent with kids and families. And we have never gone home without a pile of fish!
