The ride exceeded our expectations. We took a 2 hour private ride with David (and Indy!) I rode Ryder. The entire experience was safe, organized, adventurous and fun. I own two horses and trail ride often, so I get nervous I that I’ll be bored on vacation rides. But this was such an adventurous ride with such well cared for horses and absolutely breath taking scenery. Highly recommend!

TL;DR - highly recommend, even coming from someone who lost his wallet during the ride.

The experience and staff were excellent. We went on a ride with Dakota, and the conversation, the views, and the riding experience was all top notch. Unfortunately, I was an airhead and brought my wallet in my back pocket, which I found that I lost after the ride. The staff was all super nice and took their time to check the trails (to no avail). Even so, the staff and ownership were so pleasurable that the experience was worth losing a wallet. Would highly recommend.

As a first time rider this was a phenomenal experience. Matthew was informative, kind, and great to talk to during my sunset ride tonight. I felt safe and confident during my ride. I had the pleasure of riding Bridger. He was a sweet horse who seemed to know his way around the trail which helped me feel even safer. If I ever am back in Sedona again, I will be swinging by to enjoy this experience again. Thank you!

I had a truly wonderful premier sunset ride with Pete leading the way as my guide. Pete is super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. My horse “Rider” was sure-footed and gentle and the surrounding area absolutely stunning. They are warm, personable lovely people with a variety of horses to meet your individual needs. I got to pick my ride and it was perfect. I will be visiting again! Highly recommend!!

All of the staff are very kind and helpful. The views are spectacular. My horse diamond was such a sweetheart. If you have never been on a horse before, this is a great place, you don't have to worry about a thing and you can just have fun! They gave us water and helmets. There's cute goats and dogs as well. We gave the horses carrots afterwards. You can tell the horses are well taken care of.

A couple of weeks ago I had such a nice one on one ride on Bridger with guide Gina. Gina was kind and we were able to chat about horses and life with ease. The scenery was beautiful and Bridger was so well behaved! I'm used to riding bareback around my own land in short bursts so an hour and a half of up and down on rocky terrain in a saddle was so fun but I definitely felt it the next day or two! 10 out of 10, I would absolutely recommend this ride.

We had an amazing experience with Horsin’ Around Adventures! Our guides—Matt, Pete, and Knut—were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable, and they made sure everyone was comfortable and properly set up in their saddles before the ride. We rode Poncho and Tucker, who were the best boys—so well-behaved and sweet! The whole experience felt safe, fun, and memorable from start to finish. 10/10 would recommend Horsin’ Around Adventures to anyone looking for a scenic and enjoyable horseback ride!

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!

The staff was incredibly accommodating in allowing us to have a private ride to celebrate our elopement in Sedona.

When we arrived we were quickly greeted and made sure we had everything we needed. Our tour guide was named Matt. He was absolutely amazing. We asked so much of him and he delivered for us. He had incredible control of the horses at all times. Anything we needed he made sure to take care of.

The wonderful horses we got to ride were named Tony and Diamond. They were incredibly sweet and behaved the entire time. Never did we feel in danger or did we feel the horses were not in our control.

If you go, which I recommend you do, try to do a sunset ride because the views they took us to were stunning. I cannot recommend this place enough!

P.S. try to bring a tip for the ranch hand and some snacks for the horses. It goes along way. 😁
