Hello, this tour was a delight. Our tour guide, Holly, was very informative about the history of German Village. She was fun and made sure we were taken care of by keeping us together and on time. The restaurants exceeded my expectations. The choices of restaurants were delectable at each location. I think the food was so delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this Columbus food adventure. Also, the weather could not have been better.

I’ve taken several history, food, architecture, and entertainment tours around the country. In my opinion, there is no better way to explore a new city by choosing a food tour (my Columbus Food Adventure tour mates agreed.) Lindsey was our guide and was so knowledgeable in all areas.

The Short North tour did and does not disappoint. Being able to explore the locally owned and operated merchant businesses make this experience fulfilling. Knowing an organization like Columbus Food Advetures is able to work in collaboration with the local merchants AND support the passion and livelihood for everyone involved was evident by the hospitality we received and the background information we were given at each stop.
Bonus, experiences include taking a small jaunt to the explore the history of the Short North and Victorian Villagae area. The fabulous Goodale Park was a nice stop. A trip by the elephant fountain , as well as, information about all the Goodale Park’s ongoing events was a great break.

Just when you thought it was over, it wasn’t over. We were able to explore more local fare including sweet and savories and some local
Libations, mocktails, nonalcoholic drinks as we sampled even more unique food pairings.

Along the walk, we were able to explore various historic and iconic Columbus murals as well as ground breaking interactive murals which have spread throughout the country. Ending the tour with a sweet and refreshing after all the savory was an excellent choice.

I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore the heart of the city.

This is my second tour with Columbus Food Adventures and it was just as awesome as the first! You can really tell the amount of thought and passion Andy and Bethia put into planning these tours and building the relationships with these small local business, and they really showcase the delicious food and great cultures. Highly recommend to anyone local or visiting the Columbus area— we have the best food!!

We recently took a short weekend trip to Columbus and chose to take a food tour through Columbus Food Tours. We were not disappointed! Our guide, Liz, was sweet and knowledgeable. She answered all questions that we had, gave great information on German Village, and made our tour comfortable, despite the rain. We enjoyed the stops and felt the food tour was worth the cost in what we received. This was a fun way to try some new places, especially with the many iconic food choices in Columbus. We look forward to taking another tour in the future!

This past Saturday we did the Short North Food Tour and had a very wonderful experience! Allison was our tour guide and she was very kind, informative, and knowledgeable. She was very engaging and answered all of our questions. We made 6 stops and got quite a bit of food on our tour. We will definitely do another food tour in the future!

Our group took the Short North food tour with Andy for my friend’s bachelor party yesterday. The tour was excellent! Our group enjoyed trying new foods and flavors, especially at the North Market. Andy provided us with good information about the food, restaurants, and the history of Columbus. Andy was very friendly and easily made conversation with the tour group during down moments. The tour was a good length with some gap time to allow you to digest and walk a bit to avoid being overly full. I would recommend this food tour, and I would like to do another!

The Alt Eats tour was an enjoyable evening with interesting stops and delicious food. Our guide was fantastic, super personable and willing to share his vast knowledge. We were treated well at every stop. The creamy hummus topped with lamb and the Filipino street food were my favorites. I was traveling solo, and this was a fantastic way to dine at not just one, but five awesome spots without sitting alone! My only disappointment is that we did not have an African stop. Overall great experience, and if I'm in Columbus again, I'll check out one of the other tours!
