We were the first wedding at the Family Event Center.
We were very pleased with the caterer, Kristi Blakely and her serving staff. The food for the wedding was delicious.
The DJ and sound man, Ben Comer, was good. He did a good job on the sound and made sure the wedding was on Facebook Live for those that couldn't attend.

There are some other reasons why this is not a 5 star review:
1. The air conditioning was inadequate the days we were decorating for the wedding due to the owner's discretion of keeping the thermostat on a high setting for July in Arkansas.
2. The owner rudely accused us of stealing a small plastic deer even though there were witnesses that it was not stolen.
3. The owner refused to do a walk-through even though the contract (section LC) states that the facilities coordinator and the event contact will do a final inspection at the end of the event and determine if the $500 security deposit will be refunded within 14 days. My son-in-law returned the next day and the owner refused again for a walk-through.

POG is a great church. My family attends and we love it. I learn something new every time I attend and I've been going to church pretty much my entire life.
