Stopped to stretch our legs and get a snack on the final leg of a long road trip. Came gere based on reviews and was not disappointed. This is a family restaurant serving classic southern style food.

Immediately greeted by friendly staff who were attentive and genuine. The food we had was very tasty, and they even offered to make us fresh coffee since the pot had run out.

Some of the kitchen staff came out from the back for updates on the college football game, and they also checked up on us as we dined. Everyone was interested in making sure our food was enjoyable. And it was!

Overall, an excellent experience with great food and amazingly friendly people. I would definitely eat here again.

Good food, super nice people! Only way to make it better is make it all-you-can-eat! ? BBQ on the hot bar on Saturdays. Very good!

Fifteen of us drove two hours to eat at Mary Ruth's from different locations in Alabama. We searched to see a mid point for where we were all driving from and landed on Mary Ruth's. Boy am I glad we did! The service was the best we have ever had anywhere. The food was absolutely delicious! The owner was there and made us feel like family. We WILL be back! (When you go, try the loaded fries. Those alone are worth the two hour drive!)

Found this little gem as we ventured off the interstate toward Florida. Excellent reviews convinced us to make the stop. We were welcomed with an immediate warm greeting and we were well taken care of the entire time we were there! Food was great. We are the gumbo and friend chicken as well as loaded mashed potatoes (sooo good!), friend green tomatoes, green beans and dirty rice. We also ordered a Philly cheesesteak and kids’ chicken tenders which looked and tasted homemade! Great find!

We found this place on Google. I didn’t get pictures but when I tell you the food was awesome! We had ribs, chicken and pulled pork. Very good and the sides and banana pudding were just as good! Also, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. You won’t regret eating here!

Like you were visiting your grandmother. This food is so good that we bought a whole pan of dessert and a bunch of wings to take back to our children and grandchildren. This food is so good you will be licking your fingers!

So as we waited for our extra order they gave us a tasting on the side.

Plenty of people coming in who must be regulars cause they all talked like family.

You need to experience this restaurant and the warmest service we have ever had. If I lived here I would eat here every day.

Came here on a road trip with my family and stopped by cause we were starving and let me tell you IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! From the moment we stepped in you could smell all the different seasonings in the air and staff greeted us with friendly smiles. 100% would recommend this place to anyone who will listen. Some of the best home cooking I’ve ever had.
