Everyone at The Madison is friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the motel retains its vintage vibe even though it has been thoroughly updated. Donna, the manager, is friendly as well as being good at her job. Randy and Jerry (aka "Dadgummit!") helped me out in a big way when my motorcycle fell over on the trailer, and they are both a great asset to the operation. I spent a week there with my riding buddy and will gladly do so again if we take another trip to Arkansas. (Motorcyclist note: There is a lot of great riding minutes away from the motel, and you can even park under cover if the weather gets bad.)

wonderful country charm. cozy, clean and quiet. plenty of hot water. very friendly, accommodating owner. you won't find creature comforts like this on the interstate.

This place was nice. I would have given a 5 Star but the only problem was the bed. It was hard and springy. Everytime my husband moved, I would wake up. First morning was tough, we woke up tied and my lower back was hurting. Second night, we mentally did our best to sleep with what we had.

Only complaint is that it’s not super kid friendly and there are no tables in the room to eat at so if you have little ones who tend to be messy eaters and you also don’t have a table to contain the mess at, they have to either eat on the bed or on the floor ?, so expect them to keep your $100 deposit. Or if your kid gets sick in the middle of the night, they’re gonna keep your $100 deposit to wash the sheets and towels they already needed to wash anyway. I’m not mad though, kids do what kids do. Other than that, it’s a nice little motel for the price. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean and comfy, and, they offer a military discount.

We loved this hotel! We will stay here again. It was old, but with new floors and updated appliances and fixtures. We had a great night's sleep and felt well rested in the morning.

Our car broke down in the worst place on our way to Eureka Springs so we luckily got a tow into Huntsville that night. It was late and they had no problem checking us in and finding a room for that night. Travis was the gentlemen working with us and he went above and beyond anything I would have ever expected from the staff. They helped me with the car problems and even assisted getting the alternator out that night and then even helped me put it back the next morning. They were concerned about whether or not we had dinner and offered to drive us to anything open that late. We didn't want to impose anymore BUT instead they made us grilled cheese sandwiches, brought us some bottled water and even two beers! I was floored by their selfless generosity and true meaning of genuine hospitality. They treated us better than even some of my friends have when being at their home. Travis helped me in the morning drive to get a replacement part and then helped get it on the car. We were in a bad situation that night and their compassion to help a perfect stranger is something I will never forget. All he said was to "pay it forward" and it may not be a 5 star hotel but their guest service was the most personable, genuine and selfless care I have ever even heard of for a situation like that. My wife and I are forever grateful for their help and while we didn't plan on staying in Huntsville that night, this is going to be a story I tell over and over again about the goodness in people. You ever doubt that in this world just go book a night here. They will remind you of how kindness still lives on.

Very clean place, nice rooms. Showers that normal - and even tall people can use. If I were to change anything, it would be to put guttering up so you wouldn't have to walk through it getting into the room. I would definitely stay there again.

I had some friends stay here while visiting on there bikes. Its clean and the AC works good and its reasonably priced. They said they would definitely stay there again.
