Highly recommend this hidden gem in Arkansas! Nice and (most importantly) knowledgeable staff will help you with any questions you may have. They do guided tours and if you prefer self-guided tour the staff will answer any ad hoc questions.
House and grounds are really nicely done and show its unique character. There is a lot of information available if you like a history or you can just enjoy attractions (sound! - really cool) and artefacts displayed. There is a nice section that presents all refurbishment works done over few years time in 2005.
Really worth a visit!

The house is a wonderfully maintained artifact of American history. The visitor is seeing the original house. It is not a replica or restoration because the original house was never allowed to fall into disrepair. Our guide, Katy, was extremely knowledgeable and was very forthright about the origins as a slave plantation.

It is absolutely worth seeing.

This place was awesome, and all that thanks to the lovely lady Ruth and her walkthrough tour!

The house itself is not furnished, but the history is perfectly preserved.

Certainly worth the visit!
