Room 124 smells like there is an open sewage line in the bathroom. The bathroom also has a short section of wall near the tub that the drywall is falling apart. Housekeeping must have known about the smell since they didn't spend much time in there cleaning the room.

My husband and I stopped for one night here on the first night of a two-week cross-country road trip. We hadn't planned where to stay and had never been in this part of the state before. As my husband drove, I was on my phone searching for a place to stop for the night as we had been in the car all day and were really tired. Holiday Inns are usually not our first choice, but we would recommend this one and would stay there again if we return to the area.||The front desk clerk was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He greeted us warmly as we arrived and told us a lot about the area since we were newcomers. Our room was surprisingly large, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was just as it should be with lots of tasty, fresh selections and great coffee. I think this hotel would not only be a good choice for a one-night stop like we had but also for a longer stay in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Express and it exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were spotless, and the attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness was impressive. The pool area was a highlight of my stay, with sparkling clean water and a relaxing atmosphere. Large, clean rooms. Relatively quiet. Courteous, professional staff. Breakfast was pretty good. Ample parking.

Nice hotel. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower had plenty of water pressure.
Staff was friendly. The location was great, and there were plenty of places to eat nearby.
The only issue I had was the bill was a few dollars off from what the app had calculated.

Positive: Staff goes above and beyond to try and make accommodations, even when every room is booked. The breakfast is well curated but I come for the sausage links. Seriously they're the kind with an edible outer layer that peels back. Negative: No Negative: ""

It was a pleasant stay, and we loved that we could walk to a nearby restaurant to eat dinner.

The hot water for the shower did take so long to heat up that I wondered if it wasn't coming up from the bowels of hell through refrigerated pipes, and the bed was soft as a cloud, which made for great sleep -- and a very stiff and sore body the next morning (I'm in my 40s and had been driving and serving at a festival the day before).

I wouldn't call those complaints, just things other guests may want to be aware of. Overall, it was nice enough we'd come back to stay again.

Not busy at the time of my visit. Easy in/out. Room convenience, especially lighting, much improved since my last visit. Free breakfast was welcome and complimentary coffee was actually GOOD -- unlike 95% of hotels in this class (and some much more expensive).
