Steve was welcoming when we arrived and helped out with a great deal. The overnight lady did not greet us coming for breakfast nor say anything while leaving out due to her being on a personal call.

The bedspread had cigarette burns in it (non-smoking room), there was no smoke detector (although they "found" it when I asked), and it seemed like a huge party sprung up outside at midnight (so loud it woke up all 4 of us). The only saving grace was the swimming pool because it was >100 degrees outside!

Even though the hotel is older they made me and my kids feel at home. They had a huge Easter egg hunt with big prizes and candy for all the hotel guests and there kids and even some parents got involved. They are fixing up the place we noticed when we stayed . Saw several employees outside doing caries yard work and cleanup. Fresh coffee at there continental breakfast . The owner VJ and his wife were happy to provide things that were not provided in our double bedsesbroom like shaving cream and toothbrushes. While our room was a bit dated it has new carpeting and. Paint and smell fresh. I have a grand daughter as well for our trip and they got me a playpen and crib so I could get some things done.

This motel was very clean. The gentleman who was at the desk when we checked in was very polite and friendly him and my husband talked a lot about old cars ?. The morning breakfast was very basic breakfast juice, coffee, waffles, cold cereal, you could make toast and fruit cups. There was plenty to eat. The morning staff was very friendly as well. The rooms were very well maintained and it was a very quiet. The staff spoke English. We would stay here again. The Mexican restaurant next door had very good food. .

The filter to the window unit is covered in a thick clumps of hair and dust. See photo. Bedding has cigarette burns. All the linen is thin and very old. The mattresses are at least a decade old. Bugs everywhere. 2 came out while I was eating. Multiple in the bathroom. Phone didn’t work. Tv didn’t work. Smoke detector randomly going off in the middle of the night. Ac unit is loud and doesn’t work properly, probably because it’s being suffocated with all the hair and lint and dirt in the filter. Also if checkout is 11am, why are y’all knocking on my door at 9am!?! I feel so disgusting after staying here! Do not stay here! RUN!!

With the exception of check in, the entire stay was a disaster. The check in was easy. When we entered the room, the stench of old marijuana smoke was so strong until it gave us headaches. We reserved a double queen room. At best, the beds were full sized, but definitely NOT queen. You could feel the springs in the thin mattresses. When we turned down the bed, there were little bits of tobacco (or possibly the marijuana that we were smelling) on the fitted sheet. The tub was extremely slippery and my mother-in-law fell while showering. The towels were thin, worn and rough. The hinge area on the toilet seat looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while. The AC did not work, it only made noise and circulated the marijuana odor. Breakfast was ok. There was not a lot of variety. Your choices were cereal or waffles, milk, juice or coffee. Needless to say, we each had waffles. After eating our waffles, we returned to brush our teeth again and the pipe beneath the sink came apart and began to flood the tile area around the sink. I had to put towels down to absorb it. My husband went to the front desk for more towels and reported the multitude of issues to the morning clerk, to which she only replied, "Ok", handed him two washcloths and walked away from the desk. Due to us deciding at the last minute to drive up the night before our daughter's college graduation, we were unable to secure rooms at other/better hotels because they were full. We know because we would've left if we could've found vacancies for the occupants of our room and our travel companions who experienced the same stale marijuana smoke odor, filthy facilities and roaches. Fortunately there were none in our room. I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. The service and property leave a lot to be desired.

NONE OF OUR CONCERNS WERE ACKNOWLEDGED, ADDRESSED OR CORRECTED (with the exception of the key card. The young lady that checked us in apologized and reprogrammed our travel companions' room key.) The only response was a dismissive, "Ok" from the morning clerk before she walked away from the desk.
