The restaurant and motel was a lifesaver for two weary adventures today. We ate a great meal where each piece of the dish was homemade and very well done. Then we took refuge in a very nice motel with great AC and a screened in porch overlooking the white river. Super enjoyed our stay and we are so greatfull to the nice staff.

The JoJo staff was great. Got the steak and it was cooked spot on. They don't serve breakfast but the kitchen let me get a few eggs to cook in our room's kitchenette. The last trip we caught fish and hopefully we do this time.

We enjoyed our stay at Jacks. Room was clean, screened in porch was so nice to sit in the morning drinking coffee while looking out at the mountains and white river. We were there for the 4th of July for some R&R. Service and housekeeping was awesome. Food at Jojos was delicious. Not far to town to listen to music in the park and on the square,or browse the many stores. My husband and I were very pleased with our stay!!!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and every year after for 36 years, until I lost him in 2004. I have not been back since he passed away. He loved it so there that I have not had the heart to go back without him but I think I’m ready now. We made so many wonderful memories at Jack’s Resort! I’d like to go back and remember them all, although I will very much miss Jack and Mary Hale. They became good friends over the years.

Planned to do a float trip with jacks resort. wrong choice. After a 5 hour drive we arrived in town and got a hotel. Next morning we are up and at jacks resort at 7:30 for our float trip at 8. They "say" that they put out in rain or shine. We got went to check in and we talk to a guy and he tells us. It's going to rain twice that day the weather is bad. Now a policy they have is no refunds if you cancel. We talk to the guy and he says we will not be charged. After coming back from the rest of our vacation. We noticed a charge from them. We then call back to see why we were still charged and they say that they have it written down that we were "intimidated" by the river and cancelled and are saying they are only going to refund 80%. Now this is very wrong to not only lie about why we weren't able to do the float we payed for that they cancelled, but to still charge us after we were told we wouldn't be and that we can't get a refund because of their policys if so. They should really rethink their ideas of customer service.

$300 totally wasted.

Took a half day trip and Gray Varnadore was the guide. Myself, my wife and not even the guide caught a fish. 4 hours of fishing and not a person in the boat got a bite. At one point he announces he has a fish on! Nope. He snagged my line. LOL. The guide never even offered to try another bait. Simply said “that’s what I use”. What a joke.

Is Gray your fishing guide? More like Gray’s your fishing entertainer! He'll keep you laughing (at him) while you catch nothing but moss.

They should have offered a full refund.

If you want a good getaway, this is a great place to leave business behind and enjoy life. You can rent boats and fish or swim. Jo Jo's has great food. Everyone was so nice and friendly.

Rooms are small …but very clean ..nice view of the river.. rooms are priced ok ..owner said they are gonna updated some..
We definitely will be going back always in Oct. For the bean festival
