Ate at the restaurant. The food was amazing. We had an assortment of items. The frog legs and catfish were good sized and delicious with portions being generous. In comparison to Jo Jo's this was significantly better. Will be our new go to spot when in Mt View.

My husband and I came to Anglers with another couple. We had adjoining upstairs rooms at the hotel. All upstairs rooms have a shared balcony that overlooks the beautiful White River.
As the name Anglers suggests, it is a fishing resort, and so luxuries are not a priority. The rooms are clean but very basic. There is a microwave and mini fridge.
The biggest reason to stay at Anglers is the proximity and access to the river! The view from the balcony is beautiful, and it's just a short walk to the shore.

The rooms are small, and the bathrooms are even smaller, but the shared balcony and river views were wonderful. The walls are also pretty thin and we could hear the TVs in the other rooms. There are no coffee makers in the room, but coffee and ice are free at the store next door for guests.
This was perfect for a White River fishing trip or quick getaway out of the city, but don't expect a luxury hotel-like stay.

We stopped to grab some food after visiting Blanchard caverns. They have a wide variety of foods. Great service and amazing food. Stop by and get a moonshine flight!

First thing you notice is the general lack of upkeep. Broken & peeling railings, dead leaves everywhere planters (4) all have plants that have died awhile ago and littered patios. Bring your bug spray because the mosquitos are unbearable even during the day. The on-site store only has spray containing Deet. Now for the room which has no tissues, no shampoo, no hair dryer, no cups to rinse after brushing, no 1 cup coffee maker. The bath towels are not bleachable as they are colored. The bath towels is small too. I did not use these towels because towels that are used by the public should always be bleachable!!
The room has a very musty odor to it as well. The TV is at the ceiling so you are always looking up to view it The bathroom is "thee" smallest bathroom that I've ever been in during my 75 years on this earth. There is really nothing they can do to fix the size of the bathroom.
The location on the White River is amazing! The restaurant was amazing! The property needs some love. The patrons deserve better treatment at this motel. Oh, if you do stay here get a room on the second floor because you will hear every movement of the room above you.

Joe was fantastic!! Caught a bunch of fish despite the river rise making it all murky and messing with the fish. The VIEWS. So beautiful. Joe knew all the cool places and things the river had to offer. They cleaned the fish we caught. The shore lunch is totally worth it.

We were there this past weekend for a truck show, we got the room last minute, we loved sitting on the back porch watching the water. We only had one problem early Sunday morning about 4 a.m. our up stairs neighbor decided to stomp around until about 8 a.m. and it woke us up !
