Neat location right near the dam. Lots of options to stay and some are dog friendly.. The office is well stocked with supplies. We were able to check in day of, but in busier times would recommend reservations. Nice large swimming area - we wore swim shoes for the rocky shores. Hunt brothers pizza and the dam grill both available and smelled great. Can rent a pontoon to explore the lake for the day. Just so much to offer at this long time family run business. I would highly recommend if trying to have a quiet getaway for a day or 3. Even the small Rooms were fully stocked with everything we could need to cook a little and keep our things cold.

My husband, son and I stayed here at Swaha Lodge on beautiful Lake Greeson last week and throughly enjoyed it. The cabin was perfect. We have Verizon cell service and didn't have good reception but they had free wifi in the cabin. We rented a small barge one day and it was a very nice, newer model with all the extras. We spent several hours cruising around the lake and enjoying the beautiful, (hot) day.
There is a public picnic/ swimming area very close to the marina that we enjoyed one day.
We had a great time and will definitely be back!

A breath of fresh air and adventure is what you will find at Swaha. We decided we wanted to stay somewhere in AR where we could fish off the dock and be less than 15 minute drive into the cute town of Murfreesboro and the Crater of Diamonds. The Trout House was a retreat dream. This 3 bedroom 2 bath was just perfect. Home away from home. And the backyard was perfection with a beautiful deck and dock that led out looking over the Little Missouri River and a creek. Swaha office staff was very accommodating with key pickup since we were a very late check-in and getting acclimated to the area. 5 stars all day long. You want a vacation to remember, stay here. And thank me later 🙂

Very nice cabins, plenty of yard space for visitors, having meals, or just to spend time enjoying your morning coffee, listening to the early morning water,

We stayed in the Tree House and the Trout House. Both cabins were very nice. When we arrived the cabins were very clean and in great condition. They had fresh clean linens and they were stocked with all the essentials you need. The pictures and descriptions on the internet was exactly what we got! The locations of each cabin were wonderful. The Tree House location was in the woods and it was so peaceful and we saw lots of deer. The Trout House back porch had a lovely view of the river and the deck was equipped with chairs, hammocks and a nice grill. Both cabins had fire pits outside where you can enjoy a nice fire at night. The owners of the cabins were very nice and hospitable. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. Down at the Swaha Marina you will find the largest and best Shaved Ice and pizza. I would definitely book with the Swaha Lodge again!

My husband and I absolutely loved this place! We only stayed in their cabins for two nights, however, we rented boats from the marina 4 days in a row! The people working in the office were extremely friendly and very helpful. We felt like family by the time we left. The cabins were perfectly comfortable and the boats were top of line. Of the other marinas we visited, this one was definitely the nicest and had the best hospitality! 10/10 recommend! We’d love to come back!

One of those rare places where you can sit outside on the porch -- and not hear any man-made sounds. Really fantastic to get "away-from-it-all".||Clearly, late September is off-season. Very few of the cabins were occupied. We stayed in one of the Tree houses (views of the forest, with wildlife "shows" nightly...). The cabin was modern, clean, with a full-sized refrigerator and kitchen. ||And despite truly being "away" from civilization, the internet access is excellent (fiber-optics speed), which was useful to support a few web meetings. ||Really a fantastic undiscovered place, with very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended if you want to spend some time for "serious relaxing.
