We stayed in room #5, geared for adult couples, it has a king size bed. PLUSSES: Room was clean with excellent water pressure. Old West themed decoration was a nice touch. Great A/C system. The WiFi internet works well— an extra plus, as our carrier’s data network was spotty/weak in the area. MINUSES: the suite we chose had no shower — only a giant tub. Toilet is “in the open,” bathroom is blended into open floor plan, so no privacy if any another person is in the room (the suite is a one single “studio” type room). Cheap memory foam mattress will for sure be too soft /sink-in too deep for some people’s taste. The instructions ask guests to dispose of their own trash. So, is this a hotel/ motel or an Airbnb? 10AM check-out didn’t pose a problem for us but some might find it ungenerous. (11AM is standard). CONCLUSION: while I’d still recommend this spot as one of your best options if in need of a room in the immediate Crater of Diamonds / Murfreesboro area. Otherwise, the rooms (we paid $172 for one night in June 2024) are overpriced for what they offer.

One of the best places I have ever stayed at. I have traveled all over the US and this place is wonderful. The attention to detail is amazing and the bed is a cloud. The only negative is the toilet that sits out. But it is an old west theme ?‍♀️ so creativity was used.

Samantha’s Timber Inn is a must stay. The rooms are absolutely delightful, cute, and cozy. Each room’s theme is perfection. Very clean and no worry of pets for animal allergy sufferers. We planned to play card games in the evenings while in Murfreesboro. Denise was extremely accommodating by changing out the table and fours chairs to a table with seating for the six of us!!

The Bed was like getting lost in a sponge. The room and setting was amazing. We loved every second of the 4 days we stayed in the Saloon room. We would repeat anytime there without hesitation. The owner was so accommodating. The hot tub helped since we were on a metal detecting hunt.

Wow. This wasn't a planned stay on our trip, we were planning on finding a spot when we arrived but it was pretty difficult with a limited selection in the area. When it came down to it, Samantha's looked the cleanest in photos and the reviews reflected the same. I called to be sure we could check in since it was so late and they informed me to book online for the most simple process and a text with the info would follow, it didn't take long after I booked to receive that from Denise with the info that it was also her personal cell if we needed anything. Upon arriving a little after 11p, the key box was exactly the code she gave me, so super easy entry and self "check in".

Walking in the door of room #1, which was themed as a boat house, the smell of newness, wood, cleanliness, and comfort. Truly one of the nicest experiences I've accidentally had, if not the nicest. It was very comfortable, they had a keurig with an assortment of coffees, some creamers, sugar and Splenda, mugs in a little coffee bar, plus lovely antiques that complemented the theme, and only 5 rooms, which is great and honestly made the nightly rate on par with the quality of the room.

So cute. So clean. So comfy. I want to make another trip just to book room there again, I think it's safe to say I definitely recommend staying here, especially if you're going to the crater of Diamonds. It's by far the best place in the area that I could find, and I've stayed at a lot of nice places in the past. Great experience.

Fantastic inn in a great location! Themed rooms were a fun change from your typical hotel room. We stayed in the truck shop and the details were impressive, from the main room to the bath to the bedroom, a lot of thought was put into everything.
Cleanliness was very impressive; we were surprised this place was older than a few months old; it was that clean and "new" feeling.
Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for suitcases, clothes, etc.
Bathroom was spotless, and the shower pressure was amazing!
The porch was a great place to hang out on too, with carved wood benches and tables!
Very close to everything with NO outside sounds or traffic carrying into the rooms.

Enjoyed our stay in Brennan’s Boat Dock this weekend. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Hope we get to stay here again sometime! Great place to stay for folks visiting Crater of Diamonds.
