I am super pleased with Mao and his staff at German & Import Auto. Replaced the clutch and flywheel on my 2011 mini cooper country s all4 and did it for much less than what the dealership wanted to charge.

Since the repair took several days, Mao communicated with me on a daily basis on the progress and what to expect in terms of pricing. Will be going back to him regularly for my future mechanical needs. Highly recommend!

My parents have been coming to this shop since Mau was the owner. Maus team put in solid work on my moms GL550. Josh Le is the new owner and the service quality hasn’t changed. Still solid work for a solid price. As someone who briefly worked on cars and spent a week internship with the current team (as of 7/8/2025) still good work from these dudes.

Mao actually knows everything there is to know about foreign cars. Diagnoses issues instantly. Most skilled mechanic I’ve met. He will never upsell you, he’s a honest guy. Best spot to take your german car.

Mao was great as were his staff. Excellent quality service and for a better than average price. Really happy with all the work they did on my Mercedes. Had motor mounts, transmission mount, spark plugs and rear brakes done. Turnaround was only a couple of days.

The owner is super skilled and experienced. He only charges a reasonable cost and never over-diagnoses the car's issue. He replaced my car's brake cars at half the price of the dealer's. You can always trust his skill, experience, and personality!

Anything foreign this is your best spot to go to. Honest diagnosis and very informative. Pricing for maintenance and repairs are very reasonable. Only thing I would warn others of is to be prepared to drop your car off for at least two days. Mao is very knowledgeable and very honest.

Also, he does not touch American made cars at all

The owner, Mao is extremely knowledgeable and can give you a straight answer. Trust is so important, and you can trust the information he's giving you! The repairs are reasonable -especially when the work is on foreign vehicles which tend to be more expensive. It is a blessing to say they are my go to auto shop!
