The Hilltop Cabin is very spacious and the location is excellent as it is centrally located in the riding complex. We were able to ride our side by sides anywhere we wanted to go. Had enough cell phone service to check in with family, but not enough that the kids stayed on their electronic devices nonstop, which was a plus for us. The only thing I didn't like about the cabin was the loop around drive is difficult with longer, wide body trailers; and washer/dryer access for guests would've been amazing. Thank you Clear Sky Ridge for an amazing place to relax in an amazing location! We will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed here and absolutely loved it! It was in a great location close to wolf pen gap trails! It was secluded and fit all our needs! We really enjoyed sitting around the fire at night. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a rustic secluded retreat closer to riding trails.

We stayed at the hideaway cabin for 3 nights. Once we arrived we had to find a location on the mountain that had reception to contact someone to get us the correct code to get our key to the cabin. The wrong information was provided in the email. The initial look in the cabin is nice, but if you pay attention it is not 100% clean. The rug in the living room is filthy, there are hair balls on the floors, and the ceiling fan looks like it has not been dusted in years. While the kitchen has utensils and pans for your use they are not clean. The drawers are also dirty. You will need to wash anything yourself prior to using. We were told that new pans were missing from the kitchen which is not true they are all scratched up and used. Kids can not stay on the top bunk because there is no way for them to get up and down. We are also being accused of damaging a $1 frame that was already broken and taped back together. Be prepared to not get your deposit back for this reason. You may be accused of damaging property or stealing. Beware of snakes on the property and a large spider in the bathroom. Make sure you tie up and leave trash in sealed containers. They will keep your deposit if animals get into your trash. I do not recommend staying at this place. Spend your money elsewhere as there are many other choices in the area. Only leaving one star because I have to to post our experience!!

October 2023 - The Hideaway at Clear Sky Ridge was very secluded and private. It was quite a drive to both the North and East trail heads of Wolf Pen Gap. The rental cabin itself was nice, roomy and comfortable. There is not a washer/dryer available for use nor is there wifi or cell service. Beware of the squirrels….they caused havoc underneath the hood of two parked vehicles.

I've never rented this cabin or stayed here myself but I clean it in between people's stays and I just want to say this place is absolutely beautiful!! I've only seen it during the winter time and the site is gorgeous then so I can only imagine how more beautiful it must be when all the trees start budding and the flowers start growing. This cabin will make you feel like you're at home. There is everything you could possibly need as far as kitchen utensils, bathroom needs and even stuff for grilling. Bring the family and enjoy a weekend with no worries, good times and nature. You won't regret it I assure you!!

Let me start by saying it is a beautiful place and home. The place is spacious and the beds are comfy, wonderful views. The host did respond promptly. Rocking chairs and the swing on the front porch were much enjoyed. But there are many things that would keep us from renting the Hilltop again. When we arrived, we immediately noticed how hot it was inside the cabin, we thought the a/c would have been turned on upon our arrival. They have 3 mini split units, 1 in one bedroom, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. They’ll do the job. Everything just seemed unkept. The stove & fridge inside were both filthy. They will not allow you to use the washer and dryer during your stay. It’s locked behind doors. Which in my opinion is honestly not ideal especially staying more than 3 nights where the terrain is very dusty. So bring lots of extra clothes. Theres only so many rags and towels for each bathroom. Not enough for 4 nights stay. No water hose on the premises to wash off ATV’s . No boots/shoes inside the house. No iron/ironing board. And last of all….Cell Phone service is VERY spotty but it is there if you can find the right place…the swing was where we found it and by the couch next to the window.

For the price, it wasn’t worth what we paid. We just didn’t find it “user friendly” or welcoming

The Hideaway Cabin was GREAT. Even better than the pictures. It's secluded, peaceful, rustic and fully furnished. All we brought was food and drinks, never needed anything else. We had 4 couples and it was PERFECT! We will go back.

Our family just stayed at Hill Top cabin in Mena, Ar. WOW, what an amazing cabin. Our family had the BEST time ever!! The peace and seclusion and disconnect from this crazy world...PRICELESS! I highly recommend staying with Clear Sky Ridge if your planning on riding in the WPG Trail system. We are excited and looking forward to out next stay at the Hill Top Cabin.
