We had a fantastic hike up to Clingman’s Dome with Wes! We really lucked out booking with Smoky Mountain Guides for our first trip out this way. Our hike was full of so much information about the area, great jokes, and helpful tips. The experience was like hiking with a friend!
Wes even made himself available to provide us with additional recommendations during our trip. We will absolutely be booking our next hike through SMG and requesting Wes to be our guide. You should do the same!

My husband and I did the classic 3 hour tour on a wet Monday in May and we had a wonderful time. Wes was a fantastic guide - extremely knowledgeable and committed to making sure the tour covered everything we wanted to see. He got us to all the perfect vistas before the crowds arrived and took some great photos of us as well. Would absolutely recommend this tour (and Wes) to anyone interested in touring the Smoky Mountains.

This tour was phenomenal. We had Wes he was great knew a lot and worth the money. They also do a firefly tour in March that we want to sign up for. Highlight of our trip. They knew their stuff

Fantastic tour. I booked and took the 3 hour classic tour, Wes was our guide. Learned all about the history, flora and fauna, Elkmont Ghost Town, scenic views, Newfound Gap ect. Well worth the money. I highly reccomend!

We did the GSMNP Kayak Tour (half day) with Kindel and it was fabulous!! She was so accommodating and knowledgeable! It was a personal tour with just my husband so it was very personalized. The area was very tranquil and peaceful.
Thank you Kindel for a fabulous trip and we’ll contact you next time we are in town.

I went on the Mt. LeConte hike with Kindel and we went 11+ miles exactly at the pace I desired, which was swift, but with room to breath, pause, and take in the beauty all around us. Kindel was a great guide; experienced, friendly, and had tons of knowledge to share about the Smoky Mountains region. For my first time in the Smokies, it was a valuable resource to have a professional guide lead me through the process, and to have a competent and fit hiking buddy. The hike was customized to meet my needs. The process was user friendly. I had a BLAST!
