We had a lovely stay at the Inn. They offer a little more casual service than we are used to, but our host was delightful. She was a little confused about the hours of the restaurant across the street, and that threw us off a little bit, but we found a delightful restaurant nearby.

Our room was very well appointed, and we were able to take pictures of the other rooms, as well. I believe they will be replacing their heating cooling system, but our heat came from the fireplace in the sitting room. We had a lovely jetted tub in our nice sized bathroom.

Breakfast was well prepared and beautifully presented

The Inn St Gemme is a beautiful Bed & Breakfast and a fabulous place to stay if you are in the St Genevieve area. We came into town for the Jour De Fete festival and arrived a few days before the start of the festival. We came into town on a Wednesday afternoon and left on a Monday morning after the festival ended. When we got there, the gentleman showed us around and told about things to do and places to eat around town. While there is not a small fridge in the rooms, there is a small kitchenette on the second floor for guests to use with a full-size fridge, microwave, and coffee machine.

My sister and I both have food allergies (and not the same ones). The owners made sure to have items for breakfast that we could eat. The first morning at breakfast the staff asked which one of us has which allergies before bringing food out to us to make sure, which was fabulous. The rooms were very nice and clean. There was plenty of towels for us, and they showed us where the extra towels are kept just in case we needed more than what was in the room.

We had other family come down on Friday for the festival as well. While getting into the building is not wheelchair accessible, they did help with getting my Aunt inside. Once inside, she had a room on the first floor. We all took advantage of the outdoor seating multiple times while we were there. There are tables in front of the inn on both sides of the main entrance and there is a courtyard on the side of the inn with several areas for seating. It was very nice to take a break during the festival and sit in the gazebo (in the courtyard) in the shade.

Since we were leaving so early I the morning to head home on the day we left, they provide a basket of goodies for us and left in the fridge in the upstairs kitchenette. There was something for breakfast, orange juice, snacks, and bottles of water for us. We definitely plan on staying there again the next time we come to town.

Can't say enough great things about this beautiful inn. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean and stylishly decorated with period finishes & furniture. Our breakfast was presented like a high class restaurant and tasted delicious. Staff was pleasant and very accomodating. I hope to return again.

We stayed in Odile's Room. It was delightful! The soft faint green color it was painted was very restful. The plush carpet gave us a feeling of luxury. The bed and pillows were comfy. Everything was spotlessly clean. Water bottles and chocolate treats were greeting us. Breakfast was amazing! Stacked pancakes layered with blueberry yogurt topped with whipped cream garnished with a variety of fresh berries and thin bacon strips. Yummy and oh so pretty!

We stayed here on a Tuesday night and it was a lovely stay. We had fresh waffles and quiche for breakfast, and the room had its own temperature control so I was comfortable all evening. It’s in a perfect location with great parking. Highly recommend staying here!

On our long drive from Memphis to Chicago this little town was the perfect stop. The inn was very charming, clean, and comfortable. The owners/staff were really accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was delicious! We would definitely stay again!
