Our family stopped in here this past weekend seeing the New management sign and we decided to dine in. The food was delicious. They customized our bagel sandwiches per individual request and all came out perfectly delicious. Their veggie wrap and smoothies are a must-try too, my daughter absolutely enjoyed it! Service was a 10/10 with all happy faces. Keep up the great work New mgmt! This will be our go to place from now on.

This was once the best bagel place. Light, fluffy, tasty bagels. We went every week! The employees and staff were amazing.
Since the new ownership, it has gone down hill. The bagels were not the same, but not horrible, at first. However, this place has hit rock bottom, I have bought my last burnt, dry, and lacking all flavor bagel from them. To the current owners: please go back to the original methods of making bagels.

I stop in on rare occasions to grab a quick bite. I wouldn't rave about this place. It's your typical run of the mill shop. Today I went in and ordered a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Bagel was soft and nicely toasted, and sausage was flavorful, but the egg... I'm not sure how you manage to get scrambled eggs into a perfect square. I took one bite and ended up taking the egg off the sandwich and throwing it away before eating the rest

The food used to be absolutely amazing. But in recent years the restaurant has went downhill. What makes me no longer want to come here is the past couple times I have tried to order a prepared bagel, I can see pieces of food and taste flavors that should NOTT be on my bagel. I just got a French toast bagel with cream cheese and I found 2 small pieces of lettuce on it. Also in some of my bites I can taste other flavors like onion and salt on random parts. Which is telling me that they do not clean off their knives and surfaces that they are using to prepare the food. Which is very gross and makes me concerned about the cleanliness of the entire kitchen.

A few years ago I received a gift card for Village Bagel Company. I do not live in the area I have many times traveled 45 minutes to get these most delicious huge bagels. I am hooked. They freeze well. What a gem of a place. All the bagels are my favorite.

The Village Bagel Cafe is a quaint local spot in a cute plaza, but my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. I visited later in the day, so there weren’t many bagels left to choose from, though I was lucky to snag the last everything egg bagel for my breakfast sandwich. The bagel was generously sized, soft, and satisfying, and my food was ready quickly.

The service was friendly, but some details missed the mark — my iced coffee tasted burnt (I might just be used to cold brew), and the table I sat at could have been cleaner. It’s possible I caught them after a busy morning rush though.

Overall, it’s a decent neighborhood bagel shop. I’d be curious to try it again earlier in the day to see if the experience feels fresher.

Love this place and the awesome women who run it! They definitely have some unique and strange flavored bagels but the quality is always spot on and delicious. Every time I visit the area I have to come here for the Lox breakfast on an everything bagel. It is served with a side of house made bagel chips that are awesome. Sometimes they can run a little salty but still very tasty. The portions are huge and you will never go away hungry.

If you’re picking up bagels it can be good to know that if you get half a dozen bagels you get one extra for free, if you get a dozen you get two extra bagels for free. If you’re looking to break the traditional mold, try the Dutch apple crunch or French toast bagel. Very unique and tasty if your craving something sweet. Definitely worth a try. Come on out and super a great local, woman owned and run business.

OUTSTANDING!!!
I am extremely picky. I do not live in this area. I cannot find good bagels in the area where I live, over an hour away. Even the so called “NY” bagel shops in my area do not deliver as far as a good bagel. Here at Village Bagel, they deliver!!!
These bagels are AmaZing!🤤🤤🤤
Naturally, I am taking some home with me and will return. If I follow through with one of my dreams of opening a cafe where I live in Lancaster County, I would use Village Bakery’s bagels.

Wow, after reading the reviews from those of you that are local, I did not experience any of what is stated. I understand that when expectations are not met in comparison to the service and quality you were custom to are not met, it can be discouraging but I was met with nothing but friendly warmth and assistance. No rudeness from the shop owners and the bagel was exceptional.
Maybe give the new ownership another chance.
Everyone deserves another chance 🤲🏻
