We were in the area on vacation and looking for a breakfast spot. We chose this place and chose wisely! We came in on a Saturday morning around 10am and were seated right away. The majority of our group (7 of us) went with the special, French toast w/ strawberries. Delic! The other food ordered was a breakfast sandwich and the corned beef hash (which we learned is only served on the 3rd Saturday of the month). Both of those were gobbled down. Excellent service, excellent food. Hope to visit again and will definitely hit this place again.

Cute, cozy little diner. Staff is always very friendly. I’ve come her a couple times when I’m craving a blt & it’s always good. Coffee is pretty good too. I’d come back to try breakfast.

Simply yet tasty neighborhood place. Very friendly. Very quick, Very reasonable prices. We got French toast, omelet, sausage gravy, grits (could use some more butter). Would definitely go back.

If you're looking for an upscale Cafe this is not your place. But if you're looking for a good meal at an inexpensive price with super good service then this is your place. I had breakfast and I had the eggs and bacon with potatoes and everything was excellent. The people here are so friendly it is really refreshing. The only reason I took a star off was the bathroom was very outdated and might be a challenge for some folks to get in and out. Please visit this place and I think you will be glad you did.

My 3rd time having breakfast at Comfort Cafe. Arrived around 9am. Food was great but I left with a sour taste in my mouth. We were rushed the entire time. Three times the waitress came to our table within 10 min We were busy talking but decided to order.
While my friend gulped dwn his meal I was halfway through mine.
I think the slim brunette lady was an owner. She approached my table and asked if I wanted a take out! I was still eating. I said ummm ok I guess I can take the rest home. She literally gave me a to-go box in the middle of my meal! We obliged and left.
The tables that came in before us were still there. I'm not sure why they were focused on our table but I won't be back. A bizarre experience 😳 🤔
