I’ve been training under Sensei Yaniv Rosenberg for a few years at his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy. This was my first time attending his street defense program and I’ll be attending every one I can in the future. He shares his decades of experience in practical, fun Lessons and drills. This is a great school. Sensei Yaniv and his team bring years and years of self-defense and BJJ experience to the table and it shows. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere while teaching what is needed in real competitive or self defense-situations. Very accommodating to all students; from beginners to the very experienced. I attended the street defense seminar on Saturday. The course prepared me mentally and physically for common problems a person may encounter in a parking lot, at the store, coming out of work etc. the strange things you see on the news that happen to regular people. I truly feel more capable of protecting myself, my wife and kids, and others than I did the day before. Sensi Yaniv drilled over and over the need to prepare by knowing your surroundings, evaluating the danger and then gave us the physical knowledge to address the danger. It was mentally and physically challenging, and rewarding as we learned punches, kicks, elbows, knees, how to fall, restrain and escape from serious real life situations. Even dealing with knife, gun and sticks attacks. So cool, so beneficial, so practical!
