Franklin Falls is a popular hiking destination located near Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State. The trail to the falls is relatively short and family-friendly, offering a scenic walk through a forested area to a beautiful waterfall. Here’s what you need to know about parking for the Franklin Falls Trail:

### Franklin Falls Trailhead Parking:
- **Primary Parking Lot**:
- **Location**: The main parking lot for the Franklin Falls Trail is located off Forest Road 58 (also known as Denny Creek Road). The exact address is not typically listed, but you can use coordinates (47.4238° N, 121.4822° W) for GPS navigation.
- **Capacity**: The parking lot is relatively small and can fill up quickly, especially on weekends or holidays. If you plan to visit during peak times, it’s recommended to arrive early in the day to secure a spot.

- **Alternative Parking**:
- **Roadside Parking**: If the main lot is full, you may need to park along Forest Road 58. Be mindful of parking regulations and ensure your vehicle is fully off the road to avoid any fines or towing.
- **Denny Creek Campground**: There's also parking available at the nearby Denny Creek Campground, though it might add a bit of extra distance to your hike.

### Parking Permits:
- **Northwest Forest Pass**: A Northwest Forest Pass is required to park at the trailhead or in the surrounding area. You can purchase this pass online, at nearby ranger stations, or at certain retail locations.
- **America the Beautiful Pass**: This national pass, which covers entry to national parks and other federal lands, is also accepted at the Franklin Falls trailhead parking.

### Directions to Franklin Falls Trailhead:
- **From Seattle**: Take I-90 East to Exit 47 (Denny Creek/Franklin Falls). After exiting, turn left and follow the road under the highway. Continue on Forest Road 58 (Denny Creek Road) for about 2.5 miles to the trailhead parking area.
- **From Bellevue**: Follow I-90 East and take Exit 47. Follow the same directions as above.

### Seasonal Considerations:
- **Winter Access**: During the winter months, the road leading to the trailhead may be closed due to snow, making it accessible only by snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Parking during winter is typically at the lower lots, which adds about 2 miles each way to your hike.
- **Spring/Summer**: The trail and parking lot can be quite busy during these months, so early arrival is advised.

### Summary:
The parking lot for Franklin Falls Trail is conveniently located close to the trailhead but can fill up quickly during popular hiking times. A Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful Pass is required for parking. Alternative parking options are available along the road or at the Denny Creek Campground, though they may require a bit more walking. The trail is accessible year-round, but access in winter requires additional consideration for snow conditions.

This trail was surprisingly beautiful! I was just looking for a short small hike and totally didn’t expect a snowy icy trail like this so weren’t wearing proper shoes w spikes or chains. So it’s something you should keep in mind. But I still had a great time, able to make it all the way to the waterfall by sliding on my butts haha
