We stayed here for 1 night. The first room we got, we walked in and there were dirty towels on the ground and multiple dirty plates and utensils that were in the sink. We went to the front desk and stated that our room wasn’t clean. We got put in a different room. That room wasn’t clean either when we entered.. there were towels left on the racks behind the bathroom door from the previous guests, the shower had hair all over the wall and floor and dirty spots all along the kitchen and bathroom floor. Absolutely filthy hotel. The breakfast was decent and the location is good except there was a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel. Would not stay here again. Worst Marriott hotel I’ve been to.

My husband and I spent the night there on April 13th. Absolutely perfect. Check in was easy and friendly. The room was new, clean and so much more than we expected. Breakfast was great. Would definitely return. We were travelling from Arizona to Manitoba and the large fridge was a nice surprise for our ice packs and road snacks.

New hotel, but no housekeeping was performed over a 7 day stay. We had to switch rooms due to noise to get a cleaned up room. Also, there were no maintenance personnel available to fix broken amenities.

Loved our stay at the new Columbus towneplace suites. We are from Omaha and decided to weekend in Columbus to visit the Pawnee Plunge. Our room was very clean and the AC was working great considering it was extremely hot. We booked a King suite which has a sleeper sofa in a separate room. We did have some confusion with how the sofa converted to a bed so we called the front desk, who promptly responded and showed us how the new sleeper sofa worked.

Our room has a real kitchen. Cooktop, oven, microwave, full size fridge. All with the pots, pans, Tupperware, utensils, and cutlery.

The hotel is attached to the casino so you can walk directly from the lobby to Harrah's. There is also a patio out back with seating and lounge space that faces the horse track. Breakfast is provided in the lobby.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's a place to stay for folks that want to watch the races, gamble, or just take in some of the fun stuff Columbus has to offer.

Can’t say the rooms weren’t nice because the hotel is new and everything is clean and still nice. The location is also good as it’s only a 5 minute drive into town. The service how ever couldn’t be worse, room service 1 out of 7 nights even after requesting it several times and being told “we will put you on the list” leaving in the mornings we could see room service down the hall but they just never made our room. One night they came in and took the dirty towels but didn’t replace them or do anything else in the room. Burners didn’t work in our room but they weren’t able to find anybody to come and fix it. Tried to talk to the manager but apparently they are on paid time off for the month. Talked to customer service online but they haven’t responded in over a day. Overall just a terrible customer service experience, the people at the front desk were helpful but otherwise it could not have been worse during my stay.
