We recently held our daughter’s bat mitzvah at The Urbane and had a fantastic experience. The ambience of the venue is really special, and many of our guests commented on how lovely the space was. We added a number of elements such as balloons, centerpieces, banners and other signage to make the rooms feel more lively and “branded” to her theme, and the DJ brought a couple of couches, a light up stage, etc. which really set the tone, but the backdrop of the historic home was the foundation of what felt like a really special event. A couple of unique elements of the venue are the separate lounge space and the small outdoor patio both of which gave people a quiet area to retreat and have a conversation. Overall, we were very happy with how our party turned out and we’d definitely consider hosting another event here in the future.

We had an incredible experience at Urbane Arts Club for my daughter's bat mitzvah. They were incredibly accommodating and great communicators about all of the details. The space itself was super clean, lovely and versatile. Our guests had a fabulous time in each of the rooms, which we were able to use for the event. We feel so lucky to have such a wonderful venue in our neighborhood. It's a true gem!

We hosted our son's bar mitzvah party at the Urbane Arts Club, and it made for the absolute ideal location. So elegant and classy, with multiple rooms and a large, lavish ballroom that is perfect for any kind of larger gathering. Hannah and Brittney were tremendously helpful and made planning for the event very easy and straightforward. And our guests loved the location! So much more intriguing to have a bar mitzvah in a mansion that was a former speakeasy (and synagogue!) than a bland event space.

What a cool place! Was here for a Halloween party and had a wonderful time. The building itself is a blast from the past, sporting all sorts of beautiful and unique details (lots of carved wood, stained glass, antique fixtures and generally nice/detailed craftsmanship). The party had great vibes and the owners are genuinely kind, cool folks. Would be a prime spot for all sorts of events (weddings, holiday parties, birthdays, concerts, etc.). Looking forward to visiting again!

What an amazing venue! I hosted my book launch here and the event was absolutely spectacular--from the setting to the music to the programming, food and drink, and more. The owners (Britt and Joe) were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make the event one of a kind and special. If you have an event to plan, I highly recommend you do it here!

This is basically a small house with zero curb appeal and limited space inside. I was a guest in a party of maybe 100 (probably less) and really pushed the space capacity. They barely had chairs for 20. The appetizers were decent but the actual meal was extremely simple. The garden in the back holds maybe six people

We stayed at the Urbane for three nights and loved it! This place is a truly unique find and minutes walking distance from shopping and restaurants. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve met and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. The event space is also beautiful and would be a perfect place to host an arts event. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Don't miss The Urbane Arts Club for your next event! I participated in their Books & Bluegrass event, and both the space and staff were exceptional. When I walked up the front garden was bursting with summer flowers, and a fat bumble bee was buzzing around. I felt immediately at home as soon as I stepped inside the picket fence. The mansion is charming but also spacious, boasting several large rooms to accommodate events of all varieties as well as guest rooms upstairs for overnight guests.

I had the pleasure of staying in one of the upstairs bedrooms, and I was very comfortably accommodated with great care and responsiveness. The owners are friendly, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!
