This was our 5th time staying at the White Fence Farm House in Trade, TN and it was just as wonderful as always. We love the property and the unique rustic "old world" charm of the little white house. Also love that it's a quick 25 minute drive to visit our kids who go to App State, and an easy drive to all that the mountains have to offer! We always return feeling rested and rejuvenated! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE FARM HOUSE! We went to tour the venue for our wedding and it ended up snowing like crazy! We booked the farmhouse for the night and it was BEAUTIFUL! The property to literally heaven on earth! While we were there we saw 10 deer on the mountain and in the yard. The privacy is an added bonus! Can’t wait to have our wedding here and MANY MANY more stays in the future! We didn’t want to leave!

Really loved our time in this clean, well appointed lovely vintage home, within walking distance of all attractions on King Street. Denise was very responsive and helpful. We had everything we needed from toilet paper and hand soap to all the dishes we needed to cook family dinner and great wifi and smart TV.

We loved our stay at this house in the heart of Boone. The location is perfect for taking advantage of all that downtown Boone offers, like great and local restaurants, thrift stores, live music. It’s also a short drive to breathtaking hikes and Mountain View’s. The house is clean and well equipped. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

The Appalachian House is located comfortably “off” W. King Street, within easy walking distance of the amenities of Boone. The house is a small, immaculate one bedroom, with the amenities that make the stay superior to a hotel or motel. Parking is available next to the house, which is another positive. My wife and I are 81. And 78 years of age, and the accommodations suited us perfectly.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom house on King Street. You cannot find a better location to Boone and/or App State! Everything from groceries to restaurants and campus are all right outside the door. Pretty little spot and a great old house with fabulous charm. It was clean and and more than spacious! The only thing to be aware of is that you will hear the street noise at night if you aren't a heavy sleeper.. nothing that the owners can do about that (aside from adding some heavy curtains you can close and maybe a couple of sound machines to drown out the cars on the street?) and it is to be expected given the central location in a busy area. The care they take with their guests is wonderful... even sending one of their team members to the house to shovel/salt the driveway early one morning after a very icy night! Thank you!!!
