Most important first, EXCELLENT fishing on their peninsula. Staff was friendly. The campground is not too big so it's pretty calm compared to the large campgrounds "cough Eagle Bluff, War Eagle cough cough". Nice rafts that make it all the way down the river without losing air. But best of all EXCELLENT FISHING

I called 3 different times and no one answered and each call was 30 minutes apart I am highly disappointed in the way this company has handles there phone calls

We were dropped at the 12 mile instead of the short trip we paid for. We had our children and we didn't bring enough food. It took over 8 hours to get to the first camp site. We pulled over and called them to come pick us up. We waited for an hour and no one showed up. Another group with much smaller children, from falcon, got out of the river screaming and fighting with each other and we soon figured out the same thing happened to them. 30 minutes later we are still waiting, starving. A sweet young man from all American offered to take both of our parties back. By the time we were fully loaded on his bus, our bus finally showed up. He absolutely did not care and was very rude. I also thought he may have been driving under the influence. Definitely will never use these guys again. I have been going down this river for 30 years and this is the first problem we have ever had with any company.

I would definitely recommend Falcon Floats! They are organized, quick, and efficient. They have good kayaks and paddles. The people running it are very nice and know what they’re doing. The river was beautiful and the flow was nice. Not a lot of shady spots, but there are a few and the river is cleaned up with very minimal trash. We saw river otters, a fawn getting a drink, big and small fish, and some pretty cute tadpoles. There’s quite a few rope swings as well. We had a great time!

We booked online from the website, which we discovered none of the photos depicted the actual grounds. Both entries are not RV friendly. The sites aren't well marked with sites sharing water and electricity. No fire rings, low hanging branches and the bathroom and swimming pool need major upgrades.
On the positive side, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The float trip was good! Other than they don't have a landing at their site. You go a mile further downstream.
Would I recommend the campground, No!!! The float site is average.

The float trip was not good, the bus drive was the only good part about it. The driver was the only nice person there. Nobody liked answering questions, this was my first float trip experience and will definitely be last with Falcon Floats. The lobby where you sign up and get your rafts smelled like raw sewage. The landing at the end was terrible. The water was super hot, stagnated, like 1 foot deep, and ALL mud. It took about 15 minutes to paddle through 20 feet of mud because it was so thick. The employees at the landing just sat there and watched me and my friends struggle to get through the mud. If this place could get less than a 1/5 I would. Not recommended to anyone who wants to have a chill and fun float experience.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th at falcon floats! It was a great experience! They were all a friendly staff and after doing a 16 mile kayaking trip they were a welcome sight to see, greeting us with smiles! There was a free concert on Friday night. The place was clean. The other camper were respectful. I cant say enough good things about this place and dont know why they have such a poor rating other than to say people probably expect what you would get at a hotel while camping.
