This is a university that does not practice what it teaches. Social Work students are taught cultural competence, but the instructors apparently are not able to, practice those competencies.
The school's policies are one of elitism punishing those that do not tow the line. If anyone is searching for a university that not only works with students but their instructors answer text messages even on weekends, check out western New Mexico University in Silver City.
