We had the BEST time on the Mighty Merced with the OARS team! Gabby was a fabulous host, and Mark was a wonderful guide. Our adventure was incredible—complete with lots of cold water splashes, super fun rapids, and a day making lots of memories! The lunch provided was top notch with quality food. I highly recommend the OARS team!

Trip was very well organized, and the staff was amazing. Our raft guide, Adam, was fantastic. Safety was paramount and a good deal of time was spent discussing that which made our group feel much better as we were facing some class 4 rapids. Lunch was super and I cannot say enough good things about Oars.

Going river rafting in Yosemite? Do it with the best. The OARS crew are the best. We had an amazing time. We were in good hands. Christian, Liz-beth, and company are fantastic. Thanks for an amazing time.

Gabby was our guide. She is awesome ! Very high level of energy, loud and clear instructions as we navigate the rapids. We felt safe as a family with 2 teenage kids.

Christian was in the safety raft with the equipment. He was friendly and funny with his humor and fund facts of the area.
Pre-departure instructions were very clear with GPS coordinates. We were able to navigate to the meet-up point. However, another couple in our group said their Google map link led them to another location.

Other feedback :

1. Understand Oars like to differentiate themselves from competitors by offering "make your own sandwich" and offers a wide spread. However, about 30-40% of the food is wasted !! Too much food !!! It's painful to see so much food wasted in a pristine national park. ?‍?

2. Need to bring own water-shoes. When we rafted in NZ, we had insulated water shoes provided. Coming from the tropics we only had water shoes from decathlon which was inadequate

3. When driving from the valley, provided extra buffer to Google map estimates. Google map estimated 1hr driving. We left 0715 before and arrived just on time. Traffic delays due to forest clearing in the valley and congestion at the bridges towards midpines

My family and I had an amazing time whitewater rafting with Oars! The team was welcoming, informative, helpful, and fun. Our guide Gabi (Gabi Joe) integrated right into our group and helped us safely navigate some rough waters. Perhaps most impressively, the lunch! Our guides prepared the most extensive and delicious lunch spread I’ve ever had on a trip like this! Will definitely be looking for opportunities to take other trips with them in the future.

We enjoyed an outstanding experience on the Tuolumne River with the OARS crew. Their staff was fun, professional, organized, and approachable. We had a great time paddle rafting the many challenging rapids, coupled with excellent meals and a lovely night in camp. 10/10 recommend booking a trip with OARS on one of the many rivers where they operate.

Whether you're heading out on a rafting trip for the first time or the tenth, book your next one with OARS. From the scenery to the amenities to the good company, everything about an OARS trip is perfection personified. The guides know every last inch of the river like the back of their hand, and they know even more about whipping up a good meal at the end of a long day. Even if you can't make time for an overnight trip, come out for a day and make memories that last a lifetime. This is as good as it gets.
