Beautiful horseback riding experience. TJ was an amazing guide- very fun and knowledgeable! She was incredibly accommodating to our family-taking us for a ride on a last min-same day request! Scenery was gorgeous and these horses are well loved and cared for! Love this organization’s mission and cause-it’s why we chose them!

TJ was able to accommodate my party of 4 for my birthday. She took her time and explained how and what we were going to do. TJ is passionate about what she does. My kids are shy and introverted but she got them talking. We all want to go back for more riding experiences. Highly recommend this beautiful place. It’s great for families too!

We had a wonderful time at the saddle up wine tours. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A few friends and I signed up for their bronze wine tour package. It was the best way to spend the weekend. While we waited to start the tour we got the opportunity to meet the goats and their two puppies on the property. The horses all had unique personalities which made the tour even more enjoyable. Our tour guide Melanie shared great background of the history of the horse rescue. The wine tasting experience paired with the package was also really wonderful! Would highly recommend.

TJ was a wonderful guide, she works hard to match each horse to the personality of the rider! Beautiful scenery and the horses were very well-mannered and very fun to ride. This is a non-profit organization that works to help rescued horses. I highly recommend supporting these guys, you won’t regret it!

Woooo Whaaaat an amazing time we had! The whole team was a gem to work with. Our guide Michael was a champ and took us on a great back country ride. We waited until a little later in the afternoon to get started as it was too hot for the horses - but that worked out great because we were on our way back just before sunset and caught some of the incredible scenery.

There’s a gas station / bar / pool room / restaurant down the road called stage coach inn. Would recommend stopping there to pickup water, or snacks, and use the restrooms prior to arriving at the ranch. This is a working ranch with animals and lovely dirt all over so come prepared.

All of the horses are rescues and every penny goes to their care so I had no problem tipping and paying a little extra for a good cause.

Side note - If you’re looking to volunteer and love horses give them a call. They need the help to keep these beautiful animals well looked after.

If you want to ride I would recommend them!

PS. Safety First! Wear a helmet when riding - they offer them free of charge. Don’t be embarrassed and snap that brain protector on.

I have always wanted to go horseback riding and when I saw Saddle Up Ranch I booked it right away. Make sure you call them to reserve and work out a time that works for you and the ranch. They will ask you questions to help them pick the right horse for you!! When we got there we were welcomed by sweet little Logan and Lucas who are one of the ladies' kids helping out with the goats and they asked if we wsnted to hold a baby goat while we waited for the horses to get ready. Michael, Joe, and TJ were so helpful and welcoming they showed us how to get comfortable with the horse and how to steer it. Joe our guide is the best such a humble and friendly gentleman. ? Great experience.

A beautiful horseback riding experience through the hillsides outside of Temecula. The staff is personable and knowledgeable (shoutout to TJ for being stellar!), and they have various trail options depending on a rider’s experience levels. Bonus points for the adorable goat pen.
I will mention that communication for booking could be more streamlined to avoid last-minute confusion on whether or not you’re confirmed for specific start times, but outside of that, would definitely recommend this!
