I have just returned from Laura’s September 2023 Walking Tour of Paris and what an amazing trip it was! Laura’s itinerary includes the must-see attractions as well as many wonderful treasures that I certainly would have overlooked on my own. The sites we visited, accompanied by Laura’s engaging narratives, gave us insights into the influences that changed Paris though the centuries. I came away from the week with much greater appreciation for the political, artistic, architectural, and cultural history of this ancient city. Plus, we had a lot of fun! The small-group approach is so personal and allows for a bit of flexibility and a chance to get to know everyone. The beautiful Latin Quarter as our home base is well-positioned for sight-seeing and for getting a sense of what everyday life is like in Paris today.

Laura provides extensive help in preparing for the trip which I appreciated as a first-time visitor to Europe. What is more, she taught us the tools that we need for a return trip on our own, such as using transportation, learning to navigate the city on foot, understanding etiquette, and learning where to shop and eat.

Although lunches and dinners with the group are optional, I highly recommend joining in. Laura selects small restaurants with delicious cuisine at affordable prices. And best of all, we relaxed over the meals as the French do, taking time to appreciate the food and drink and enjoying conversations with nice people.

Laura is an accomplished and knowledge Tour Director and a genuinely nice person. She is organized and always ready to answer questions and assist with whatever need arises. I would join Laura on another tour in a heartbeat if the opportunity arises. Here’s a tip for those of you who do join her tour: Laura will give you a movie list to watch beforehand. Watch them! Each film provides background into places you will visit and people you will learn about. I highly recommend this tour.

Laura's walking tour of Paris was a wonderful way to experience the city. Rather than using a guide book and visiting only the major attractions and randomly wandering the city (as we had done on a previous trip) Laura took us to many places (some that were not the typical tourist attractions, but also some that were) and provided informative and detailed commentary about the architecture, history, people who lived there and much more. She also chose restaurants that were very good and places we likely would not have discovered on our own. Each one was delightful and delicious. The tour has an ambitious itinerary, but the great thing about it was that there was some down time built in and if you wanted additional, it was perfectly fine to opt out of any activities and meals. With Laura, we were able to experience a bit of what life must be like for the Parisians. She also helped us learn to navigate the metro and bus systems, a very useful skill.
Laura is so pleasant, friendly and easy to get along with and seemed to choose our group participants with the same qualities. I highly recommend this walking tour even if you have been to Paris before. Laura adds a richness and depth to the experience with her extensive knowledge and experience in the city.

Laura was a fantastic Paris tour guide for me and my husband. Easy going, detailed, fun, and very responsive are just a few adjectives to describe Laura's style of tour guiding. We learned so much about the Latin Quarter in a quick three-hour walking tour. The walking was easy and the pace was perfect. We have been telling our family and friends about our positive experience. Thank you Laura!

FABULOUS planning down to every last detail. Laura put together a “One week in Paris” highlights itinerary for us. She carefully planned each day with a morning activity, suggestions for lunch, an afternoon activity and suggestions for dinner. Each activity and restaurant included a link to reserve. She even suggested a private tour of the Louvre with a specific guide who was outstanding. The restaurants and hotel were top-notch. Laura was available for questions and guidance via email or phone during our entire planning process. Simply the BEST!

Within a few days she sent us an entire proposed itinerary with hotels, walking tours, train schedules, restaurant recommendations, museum ideas, and more. She saved me hours of research and I felt very confident going into our vacation because everything was taken care of!

I experienced the "Walking Paris-Monuments, Museums and Hidden Gems" tour in September 2023. At 71 years of age, I have taken numerous vacations and tours. This trip was one of the best travel experiences i have ever had! If you are thinking about visiting Paris, you could not ask for a better experience. Laura is so knowledgeable and eagerly shares that knowledge.I am so happy that I found Laura and her business and will treasure my Paris trip forever. I feel like I received the very best introduction to this beautiful city possible and look forward to returning.
Thank you so much, Laura. I am so happy I found you.

Laura created a 5-day itinerary for me and two travel partners for our first visit to Paris in May of 2023. She was great to work with, and after talking w us about our interests and ideas, gave us a wonderful, well organized itinerary - set up w morning, lunch, afternoon and evening suggested activities and places to see, including: visiting the Musee d’Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, the Louvre, listening to fabulous gypsy jazz music at a historic Jazz club, an evening boat ride on the Siene, a great hosted walking tour of Monmartre, and even a day e-biking in and around Versailles!!
We loved our time in Paris and Versailles and Laura’s itinerary made our short visit full of incredible unforgettable experiences!! Merci beaucoup, Laura!!
