It's a little run-down. The sites are quite tight and narrow, and there are a lot of long-term rigs parked at the campground. The pool is chilly, but you'll get used to it. Unfortunately, it closes at 5 pm, which is a bit of a bummer for the kids. Services were all adequate. The laundry room had three machines out of service, but we made due. The location is convenient to make a day trip to Idyllwild. We recommend making that trip. Don't tow your trailer up the road, especially if it's a big rig. The road is quite narrow, with lots of bends and twists.

A nice park for a quick stop over. Pool was clean and refreshing - restrooms and shower clean as well. Only downside some pull through sites need some help being level. Sites are not too close but pretty standard. Also bring a “female” connection if you want to use their cable hookups. Would stay again if passing through.

This was a great KOA. There were so many shade trees, it really helped especially in the month of July. The bathrooms, showers and laundry were very updated, nice and very clean. The grounds were very well taken care of. You can tell they really care about this campground. The staff is friendly. We only stayed one night while passing through, and it is a place I would come back to.

Reception Isabel has the personality of a rock. A couple walked in to check in, as I a patron, were checking my mail. They were very polite, friendly and happy to check in. Reception said “What Site” no hello, no greeting, no positive energy whatsoever.

We are decades long KOA fans. However this stay was a miserable experience. The site we got was not what was on the original reservation and was supposed to be a "big rig" site. It was tight fit. Worse was the trees - they were rubbing the side and roof of the RV. They would not allow us to move to a more open site (and the staff was less than pleasant). With the wind, we had to trim the tree branches ourselves to protect our RV. Then, in the middle of the night there was no water and a plumber had to repair the lines which he did quite quickly! While many would likely give positive reviews, we may have given a better site.

Spaces need to be cleaned. There are several cigarette butts and used Qtips all over the ground in the spot we stayed. Great value.

Only good if you need a place to stay for a night. They will accept anyone here. Long term areas are trashy. Young kids unsupervised running through occupied spots. Stray kittens everywhere.

Ok for a one night stay. However there’s a railway close to the site and trains run constantly. Even in the night we heard the honking of the horn of the trains passing through.
Quality of the facilities is not great but doable. The sites are a bit run down.
