We hired Joel Nelson Productions for our son's bar mitzvah last weekend. Joel and Joseph were super easy to work with and helpful in planning our event. MC Julio (DJ Lo), DJ Luis, and the two dance motivators, were fantastic. The kids and adults were 100% engaged and I have received nothing but overwhelmingly positive feedback from all of our guests. Julio and Luis were professional, flexible, and engaging. Everyone danced, from our 4 year old cousins to the 84 year old grandparents and the almost 70 pre-teens and teenagers. My son said, "I knew the party was going to be great, but it was better than I imagined." Thank you to an amazing team for making our son's bar mitzvah celebration a success! We look forward to having Joel Nelson's team with DJ Lo at our daughter's bat mitzvah in a couple of years.

We hired Joel Nelson and his band to perform during our wedding in March 2023. He did an incredible job, and went above and beyond our expectations bringing a high level of energy and great music to our dance floor. We had a flute and guitar duet play as the bridal party walked down the aisle, and a full band followed by a DJ during the reception. They brought uplighting for the floor which added to the celebratory ambiance of the room. We were really impressed, and would absolutely recommend Joel Nelson and his crew for any upcoming events!

We hired Joel for our son's bar mitzvah in early December. Friends and family are still raving about the party and the music. Joel had EVERY kid on the dance floor! Even the adults had a great time. Joel played a mix of music that appealed to all of our guests, from tweens, to teens, to adults and old fogies. Joel helped save the day when we experienced an unexpected snafu. There was also an atmospheric river going on outside, but no one cared because they were having so much fun in inside! When the party was over, the venue windows were steamy and the guests were properly danced out.

Joel & his team did a fantastic job for our event - he was flexible & accommodating during the planning, had excellent suggestions garnered from his years of experience, got even the most reluctant dancers up and moving and made everything so stress free. I highly recommend Joel Nelson Productions to DJ and MC any event, particularly ones involving kids of all ages!
