We worked with Sarah for our July 2024 wedding and it was such a great experience! We did not originally plan to hire a planner but once we started searching for a venue we quickly realized we needed help. Sarah was the perfect fit for us. She truly listened to what we wanted, understood our budget, and helped us pull off the perfect day for us, never pushing anyone else’s agenda! Every vendor she suggested was as total dream and she helped us prioritize where to use our resources best using her great range of experience. Also, she has stunning design taste! I can confidently say we would still be trying to plan a wedding to this day if we had not hired Sarah and nothing we would have done by ourselves would have been nearly as good! I had a backyard wedding on 9/9 and hired A Lovely Universe as my event coordinator. First to start off, I do not know what I would have done if it wasn't for Sarah!! Without her organization skills and being on top of all the many things that come with planning a backyard wedding, my wedding would have been a mess. Her communication was impeccable and was always there when I needed her (which is key to a stressed out bride).

I had majority of my vendors when I hired Sarah but she helped find my last few vendors which were GEMS! She took care of all the decor (even creating her own signs to save me money) and set everything up on our wedding day!

Sarah was the main reason my wedding day went smoothly. She was on top of EVERYTHING and truly was the calm throughout the storm to help make my wedding day go flawlessly.

She brought her assistant, Hayley, who was just a pleasure to work with as well. Hayley was very sweet, professional and helped me in so many ways.

August 2023 bride!

I cannot say this enough: hiring Sarah was the best money we spent on our wedding. Full stop.

We felt basically no stress during the month leading up to the big day—which is not the norm at all—and so many guests commented that they felt it was one of the most seamless weddings they’d ever attended. The ceremony was seamless. Transportation arrived on the dot. All music was handled. Salads were ready exactly when the guests sat down. If you’re looking for a professional, she’s that and beyond. Her value really shines, however, when unexpected fire drills popped up on the big day. When our florist got overwhelmed and fell behind schedule on decorations for the reception, Sarah kept everything on the rails and made sure that it didn’t impact the look we wanted. By the time I finished hair and makeup and arrived at the venue, everything was already fixed and flawless. Basically the entire venue staff told me that without her, our florist would have been a disaster. Because of her, everyone couldn’t stop commenting about the beauty of our hanging installations. I didn’t have to worry about handling any of the drama on our big day and just got to enjoy it and be in the moment, which was priceless.

Beyond logistics, Sarah has such a good, anti-bride/ modern aesthetic, got our vision from the get-go, and was so helpful in assisting us on staying on budget and understanding vendor payment norms. She’s also a joy to work with, so prompt at replying to questions, and endlessly patient. Cannot recommend her enough, and actually referred her to my brother-in-law, who has now hired her for their wedding.
