Looking for Indian food searched on Google and found nearby restaurant. But honestly the food was not upto mark. Quantity is very less. And the Nan was very small and like half cooked. Rice same half cooked. Not worth the price. Since we were hungry we just had it. They just served water in small plastic glass. That's weird. Service is not good at all. I eat in lots of Indian restaurants but this was to the lowest mark. 😔 👎 Not recommended at all.

Good food but a bit overpriced for the portion. I had their lunch "Feast", and since I am vegetarian, instead of a chicken choice, I asked for two veggies (mushroom bhaji and sarson ka saag). When the waitress asked if I wanted rice or naan or both, I chose only rice, which I came to regret, as the portions were quite small, and I was still hungry after wiping clean the entire plate. There was a good lunch crowd, all the seats were taken, and an older gentleman vacated a bar stool next to the serving counter. He sat on the other bar stool to work on his laptop. Later he asked me how I liked my food - I realized he was the owner of the restaurant. Seeing his turban, I asked him if he was Sikh? Yes he was - then he must be a vegetarian too (no wonder the veggie dishes tasted so good!); and also like me, a meat-cooking vegetarian :-). All in all, I liked the food, but wished for a better portion.

We recently had the Saffrom team cater an event at our house and it turned out to a hit. Right from planning the menu to setting up and serving to our guests was a very smooth process. No issues what so ever. The food was also amazing - every dish was prepared with lot of care and taste. The catering team was also very courteous and took great care of all the guests. Overall, fabulous experience. Thank you team, you made our event very special and memorable.

Nice Indian restaurant for both dine-in and takeout. Food is great especially the goat curry, saag and tacos. The owner is incredibly kind, and they offer excellent office catering services. Highly recommended!

Affordable place, although the quality of food is not that high and the flavors aren’t that strong. The chai especially tasted like watered down milk, I could barely detect a hint of any spices whatsoever. If you’re accustomed to very flavorful Indian food, I wouldn’t come here… the atmosphere was also a bit odd, it was dead silent in there with no music or anything for ambience.

A very typical Indian restaurant in Tribeca. The problem with Indian food is that the chicken is always dry. Same here. But the service was great. A narrow restaurant layout. Buffet style but not self service. The lunch special with nan and a coke ended up being $18.
