Went here to get our marriage certificate notarized by Anne and she was super sweet! Very fast process. Was in and out in 10 minutes. She even gave us little mints that said Mr. And Mrs. The staff blew bubbles while we walked out, and congratulated us. Was a very memorable experience. I was in an accident with an at-fault AAA member three weeks ago. After seeing the reviews by actual AAA members, I now see why I am getting such poor service.

I called the week-of to inform them of the accident -- "Someone will be contacting you in the next 24 hours."

I called the claims 800 number at the end of the second week, gave them all the information they requested, and was given contact information for the agent going to work my claim. I was again told that I would be contacted. I waited a couple of days and reached out to the agent by email. Here we are, still no contact from AAA.

I was shopping for insurance and can guarantee I 100% won't be going with AAA.

Edit: it is now another 4 weeks, and I am still waiting on the AAA adjuster to get back to me. We have messaged a few times, but it has been over a week since I've gotten a response.

I got Homeowners and Car insurance policies after being quoted great rates. The next year my premiums went up. The year after that they increased my rates again. At that time my Homeowners rate had DOUBLED from where I started. I had NO claims. I called them and they couldn't give me a reasonable reason and did not care to help me. I went to Alfa where my rates were cut in half and stayed that way.

I didn't physically visit. But AAA roadside assistance is the best investment I've ever made! Especially since between my wife's car and mine, we have about 450,000 miles.

They lure you in with cheap rates and triple them within 4 years. They increased my homeowners and auto insurance over $4,700 in four years with zero claims filed. Screw AAA! They also do not participate in the the insurance database that other insurance companies contribute to, to verify you have been insured, which increases the time you stay with them until they contact your new insurance company for the verification.

Once upon a time you could request a tow service and they would get there in a reasonable amount of time. Now they send whoever they want to send, and that service may be 2 towns and 45 minutes away.

Battery went dead at Decatur, AL Court House…long time AAA MEMBER so called AAA-told me service was on the way-30 minutes later still no service-called AAA a second time. 25 minutes later, nothing. Ended up having to have my wife drive from HARTSELLE with battery cables. POOR SERVICE for a service call to a downtown location.
