AAA is becoming a joke. On 12/2/24 I was stuck in Morristown. No prob w/the wait as it was only an hour. Ended up a new battery was bought from them & driver put it in. However a couple weeks later I got stuck again luckily in a parking lot. I called AAA & on a Sunday morning the wait was going to be at least 2 hrs. However my son who lives nearby came to my rescue w/a jump box. It wasn’t the battery this time. It was because the tow driver when putting my battery in broke the positive terminal part & now it cost me $160 to fix. If these drivers don’t know protocol get rid of them. This is a disgrace how bad AAA has become. I have other horror stories about them also but won’t get into that here. Better off getting roadside assistance from your car insurance company. Certainly can’t be any worse.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I waited 16 hours for a tow. Originally called Wednesday 12/18 and was told an ETA of 7:30, which then got pushed till 8:30, and then 10PM. After the third update after 10Pm the only friendly representative Laura told me I could do an Unattended Pickup, which would have been great to know before I sat there for hours and hours waiting.
Fast forward, the tow company Rossnagle calls me and lets me know they wouldn’t be coming tonight but instead would come pick it up at 8AM. It is now 10:30AM and the car is just being picked up, and I have now likely missed my car appointment scheduled for today despite emphasizing to them on the phone it needed to be dropped off at the shop first thing.

When we got stuck in Peru during Covid this agency did nothing to help us get back home and on top of everything the travel insurance we purchased from AAA in Philippburg didn’t cover anything. The agency refused to refund lost trip and Manager got unfriendly and obnoxious. Thank goodness our credit card company was on our side and we had to fight to get our money back and eventually with a big hustle we got back our money. Be careful.Unfortunately if anything happens to you overseas most likely this travel agency would not respond on time and will not take care of your emergency

I was grateful for the cordial and professional service I received from Helen and her colleague, Vicki. I stopped by to get passport photos, and was very impressed with the high level of customer service I received. While Helen was taking the photos, she asked Vicki to see if there might be a promotion available to enhance our current membership. My husband and I will definitely stop by the Phillipsburg AAA in the future if we plan to travel. The enviroment is very welcoming.

We became Premier members and both times we called for assistance had to wait over 4 hours. One time was a tow the other time was for a battery replacement. AAA is disappointing and unreliable. Hoping to find another service other than these slackers.

These people deserve negative five stars. 2 years ago, we blew a tire on a busy Long Island highway and no one answered the emergency road assistance number, which we tried to access for over an hour. After decades of paying for this service, it wasn't available to us. We filed a complaint that day and have sought their follow-up for 2 years. Nothing. Another abusive corporation that takes your money but doesn't deliver service and then tells you to get lost or worse doesn't even acknowledge your existence. The personnel in this office have done nothing but make excuses and have not tried to assist us in getting an answer to our complaint.
