My child and I been trying to get a house with ada homeless for the last 5years ( ever since 2019)I was working with Holly. Being a disabled person on an $943.00 a month it's really hard to do. But I guess it fine to help drug addiction people instead of a person with no criminal record

Where do I begin? My family of 3, soon to be 4, although we weren't technically "homeless", were living in an extremely unsafe, sub-par environment when we reached out to Ada Homeless Services for help. We were desperate to say the least and this was our last and only hope. From the second we walked in the office to the day we moved into our new home, Sarah and Holly were not only professional but so compassionate, empathetic and absolutely went out of their way to help my family. When they heard just how bad our living situation was they immediately took action and got us out of it within a day.

I can't say enough about this organization or these two women. When they say they want to help, they mean it. When they say they will do anything they can, they mean it. When they say trust them and let them do their jobs, they mean it. We were not an "easy" case. Sarah and Holly fought for us. And they didn't stop once they got us into a home. They also made sure we had everything we would need to not just survive but thrive (cleaning supplies, toiletries, furniture, decorations, etc). Their job didn't stop with finding us a home. They made sure we would be happy and comfortable in our home.

Unfortunately, this organization can't help everyone. Sometimes their hands are tied. I thought we were going to be one of these cases, but they never quit trying for us. They never made promises they couldn't keep. They never told us they would do something they couldn't. They gave us tough love when we needed it and eliminated any doubt we had in their knowledge or abilities.

I HIGHLY recommend this organization for anyone who has fallen on hard times. They WILL go above and beyond for anyone reaching out for help - as long as you're willing to help yourself as well. I honestly don't know where myself or my family would be right now if not for, not just this organization, but for Sarah and Holly driving the bus.

I could go on for days about all the things they did for us but this review would become a book so I'll quit and leave it at this, if you need help, if you've found yourself in a bad place or a situation you see no light at the end of the tunnel, CALL! Go by their office! Sit down and talk to Sarah and Holly!! They CAN and WILL help in any way they can!!
