While we’ve done other off roading adventures like 4-wheeling, this was a completely unique experience. Cale (AKA Velvet Thunder) was an awesome guide and made sure we were safe, but also had a lot of fun. Since we were the only ones that were on our trip, we had more time to go at our own pace and hear some of Cale’s entertaining stories - including kudzu and goats. ? While there were parts that seemed a bit overwhelming going up or down the steep hills with rocks and mud, the training we received really helped make it easier. Can’t recommend a trip with Cale and Chad enough - awesome time!

We had a blast on this off-road vehicle trail! It was a wild ride up and down the mountain with an amazing lookout view halfway. Our 12-year-old loved being in charge of the walkie-talkie to communicate with our guide. Highly recommend for a fun and adventurous family outing in Western North Carolina!
