If I could leave positive review of this place I would, but I simply can’t do that. From the very beginning this place was difficult. Trying to reserve a spot at the campground was difficult. It took multiple calls/texts to get ahold of someone. This was the situation for my family unless there was some kind of ā€œissueā€ the campground had with my family. This place from day 1 felt like a HOA that would make rules up and nit-pick over anything. They did not like the fact my daughter had a disability. They did not like the fact we were a family. They also did not like that we tried to hold them to basic standards that any place open to the public should abide by. Many issues happened at this campground over the 6 months we were there. Almost all of the issues were from rules that were not included in the 10+ page rules/lease agreement we signed.
The first issue that the campground had was the fact my daughter (11) wasn’t allowed to use the bathroom by herself (no rules signed that state kids need to be with adults in bathroom). I was told that only her mother would be allowed to take her to the bathroom as well. It would not be ok to walk her down and wait outside of the bathroom.
The next issue that I had was over again issues with the bathroom. The onsite manager told us that the campground does not provide toilet paper during the winter/off-season. Mind you there are at least 20+ campers on site for the winter/off-season. I also noticed that the bathroom had no heat until almost December. Both issues were brought up to Aaron from their sister campground and they were mostly fixed (off and on the bathroom would go weeks without toilet paper).
Third issue was the washer and dryers on site. This was a nice perk to be able to do laundry on site. Well would have been great if they worked. One washer and dryer was broke for almost 100% of our stay here. Also our family would get the blame for any time there was a load in the washer or dryer too long. We only did laundry here one time, because I valued having clean clothes (water quality was terrible).
Fourth issue I had was the fact management dictated to us how we were to use our camper. Normally our family would dry camp through the winter as our camper was a three season camper without heated/enclosed tanks. Management told us we needed to use water at our camper as they said everyone else does it. I told them I would use water in my camper when the weather got better because there was just a ridiculous amount of sand in the water and the sulfur smell was just too much in winter (could not run filters in sub freezing temps).
I could go on to list many of the other issues with this campground such as couples showering in both men’s and women’s bathrooms (yes multiple issues here). The fact the ramp to the bathroom was in terrible shape. Multiple soft spots in the wood and the gutters would leak onto the ramp creating a slime that was slick. The list of issues that happened at this campground was just too much. My family was happy to move on from this place. So if you are looking for a HOA level campground that is also a part spot from April-September, this place is for you. If you are looking for a place that is fun to camp at and enjoy time as a family, look elsewhere. State parks are so much better and they cost far less.

This campground is the best! I wouldn't go any place else and haven't in years. Not only is the staff friendly and accommodating, but they all work very hard to make this place it's best. They exceed my expectations every time.
Not that it needs anything at all, but they're doing renovations to the rec building, plus adding so much more stuff. The grounds look amazing and all of the events, on top of the 3 fishing ponds, and hiking trails give you the opportunity to always have something to do.
Hats off to all of the staff and the new owners who have put so much time and energy into making the campground into one of the best places in Logan county! Shout out to all of the campers, who are always fun and friendly. Can't wait to see everyone this season. Happy camping everyone!

My husband and I have been staying here for almost 2 years now!!! We love this place! Management is wonderful, and they are always here if you need anything! They go out of their way to make their campers happy and safe! It's a place I call home! Of course, they have had issues with other campers. However, they take care of business and won't let people stay, which cause problems for everyone. The review left by Holly on here is an absolute lie! I'd be in the women's restroom, and her husband would just walk in like they had no respect for anyone. Me, along with other campers here, have witnessed their misbehavior, which led to them getting kicked out! They are nasty people, and I'm much happier and feel safer with them gone! Their prices are outstanding and there is so much to do. They are doing upgrades right now to make this place even better!!! Don't believe everything you read on Google and Facebook! If you don't stay here because of someone being bitter about being kicked out, then you are missing out! The restrooms are so nice, and it's more private, so you don't feel like you are exposed when showering! They have so many cool events during summer with so much room for kids to play! If you are looking for a comfortable clean and safe campground to stay at, this is your place!!!

If you haven't camped here, you're definitely missing out! The management; Bobby and Chelsie care so much about the Campers and the grounds, and it clearly shows. There are several activities planned through the season, with new activities plans for the 2025 camping season. Our family loves Adventure Trails and we know you will to!

I highly DO NOT recommend this campground. First off, It’s IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of anyone for anything. Secondly, If you have children that have any disabilities that cause them to look small…(my child is almost a teen but is very short due to disability) you will be discriminated against. thirdly, ā€œKarenā€ who cleans the bathrooms (but supposedly doesn’t work for them) likes to blame your disabled child for things even if you have no clue what in the world it was, and management believes her. We’ve done nothing to the lady, but she has blamed my child on so many things….and my child is never even around her. She’s been blamed for things like ā€œcleaning her underwear in the bathroom sinkā€ which was never her and was another persons child. My kids are hardly ever outside but get blamed or hollard at by ā€œKarenā€ when they are outside. Don’t count on allowing your kids to go to their ā€œparkā€ Even though your are within eyesight, but it’s okay for ā€œNormalā€ kids to be there without a parent in sight. Also, their rules about children playing also contradict theirselves. Also, our water pipes froze in the ground……so my son , ran to the shower house to fill up a pot of water so that we could have dinner for that night and we got blamed for ā€œwashing dishesā€ even though we didn’t, but have saw and reported others physically doing dishes in the bathroom. Our family is pretty kept to ourselves, as we are always very busy with appointments due to our child’s disability, we have hardly even spoke to anyone in the campground. We have followed by their rules, (which they like to add rules that were never posted) our campsite looks better than half the campsites here, we never had anyone here that wasn’t on our lease, our camper isn’t junky looking (I’ve got pics) our small dog is always on a leash and has never left our campsite yard. Our dog is always cleaned up after. We have the two allowed per lease vehicles (which both run, and are up on maintenance) however MANY MANY MANY other campers DO NOT follow any of those rules. BUT, our family gets kicked out of the campsite because I VOICED MY OPINIONS AND CONCERNS ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE BECAUSE THEY REFUSED TO ANSWER ANY PHONE CALLS FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND BECAUSE ā€œKARENā€ & MANAGMENT DOESNT LIKE FAMILIES WITH DISABILITIES!!! Oh not to mention….there was a nonworking electric meter did not work for several months, our 20 amp was not working for several months, our campsite was littered with tons of cigarette butts (we do not and never have ever smoked), and the water issue…..DO NOT DRINK , DO NOT USE IF YOU DONT HAVE TO !!!!! IT HAS SOOOOOO MUCH SAND SEDIMENT & SULFUR. ( we spent so much money on gallon and water bottles from store) Also, DONT COUNT ON USING THE AMENITY OF THE THEIR WASHER & DRYERS. THEY HAVE 2 OF EACH, BUT ONLY ONE WORKED….WE TRIED WASHING A LOAD OF LAUNDRY ONCE WHEN WE FIRST CAME TO THE CAMPGROUND AND THEY CAME OUT DIRTIER AN NOT DRY , SO WE NEVER USED THEM AGAIN….WHICH IS ANOTHER THING WE GOT BLAMED ABOUT….OTHER PEOPLE HAVE LEFT THEIR LAUNDRY IN THE MASHINES AND YET BECAUSE THEY APPARENTLY HAD KID CLOTHES , WE GOT BLAMED….EVEN THOUGH WE ONLY USED THE MASHINES ONLY ONCE EVER!! IF YOU STAY DURING THE WINTER AND IT SNOWS OR ICE….DONT COUNT ON ANYTHING GETTING CLEARED. MY HUSBAND CLEANED OUT THEIR SHOWER HOUSE STEPS SO MANY TIMES, WITHOUT ANY SIMPLE THANK YOU. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF DISABILITIES, AND YOUR USING THEIR SHOWER HOUSE BATHROOM AND IF YOUR IN THERE A LITTLE LONGER THAN NORMAL MAYBE BECAUSE OF THAT DISABILITY (LIKE SEIZURES) WELL, YOUR ON YOUR OWN…BECAUSE YOUR SPOUSE OR CHILD OF OPPOSITE SEX IS NOT ALLOWED TO HELP YOU ……. But , ITS OKAY FOR ā€œNORMALā€ people to take showers together with their husbands/wife. ALSO, NOTHING IS ADA ACCEPTABLE! Sure the shower house has a ramp……BUT ITS NOT ADA ACCEPTABLE NOR FOLLOWS ADA, THERE IS NO ADA BATHROOM STALL WITH BARS AND NO ADA SHOWER STALL. So, if your a ā€œNORMALā€ family then you might be okay to stay here….BUT, if your family has any kind of DISABILITY ā€œ then your family is NOT WELCOMED.
