Jana and Johnny were fantastic guides for our 3-day Adirondack hiking trip. They are warm, supportive, excellent guides. They go above and beyond to cater to everyone’s ability levels and try to give everyone the experience they’re looking for. For anyone who used to hike with Discovers Outdoor, this is largely the same team, headed by wonderful guide and human Jana!
They offer a great mix of adventures for all fitness and ability levels and everything is very professional, very COVID safe and so enjoyable.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy way to get out of the city for a guided hike or adventure.

my pup Nino and I had a paw-some time on our pups day-trip. Our guide (and company founder) Jana picked us up promptly and on time from the designated location. As an added bonus, the trip contained some nature and educational tips along the way! I learned a bit of new info about plants and fungi in a fun way. The van was very clean and seemed new too, with proper climate control for the pups (important as pups can get hot in a car). As a final treat, the rest of our tour-mates, including one of the guides, Matt, were very friendly, fun people. The trip was a great way to spend our Sunday and I can't wait to return for another hike with Adventure Untamed. Good luck on your new company, Jana!

I’ve hiked with Adventure Untamed a number of times. They are responsive, professional, informative and super supportive. I’ve successfully completed several challenging hikes with their guides. I never would have done them on my own. I highly recommend Jana and her guides.
