Wow, I am really surprised by the terrible reviews here. My husband and I just had our first two consecutive experiences with Aggressor. First, a week on the Red Sea Aggressor IV, followed by a week on the Nile Queen and 3 nights in Cairo. Admittedly, the food on the diving liveaboard was better than the Nile riverboat (ingredients seemed more plentiful) and we will make some suggestions for the Nile cruise in our Aggressor survey, but the crew on both boats was fabulous. Every single person went out of their way to provide top notch service! We had a 25-hour travel delay and the person who answered the 24-hour emergency number was amazing. So friendly and helpful. She assured me we could still make the boat and arranged the 3-hour transport from Hurghada airport to Port Ghalib, getting us there at 1am, in time for the scheduled departure later that morning. All in all, we were extremely impressed with Aggressor amenities and service. We have some dive friends that ONLY do Aggressor liveaboards and after this experience, we can see why.

The company name really reflects their attitude. Europeans, be careful with them. As soon as they get your money, they forget about you, especially if you are not from the States. If they cancel a trip (which happened to me twice, yes, not joking, twice in a year), you can be sure you won't get all your money back. Very bad customer support, plus bank fees and exchange rates, will raise your stress and anxiety to very high levels. Furthermore, they don't refund the domestic flights they booked for you to the departure/arrival points. That money is completely lost under the deep blue sea.

I lost 2000 dollars from aggressor. They canceled the dive trip after the third day from 12 days and didn't give me back the rest of the money they issued a voucher for 1 year where the boat was not even operating and they will not extend the voucher further. So they stole the complete money. They lost me as a customer for life at the age of 30 and I will not recommend them to any friends or family.
Stay away from them.

I was on one cruise with them and it was very nice. The next one was very bad (RSA2)! Due to on-board service. Many people who were on this cruise, like me, had previously been with Aggressor. Even though we all had a nice experience earlier when we wrote to Aggressor that the last cruise was a misunderstanding and lowered the standard they strive for, they treated us like cheaters and liars. This is very sad, there are many companies in the world that will boldly replace the company that stopped listening to the customer.

Avoid This Company at all costs! We were excited for our first liveaboard experience on the island of Turks and Caicos mid December. It was a nightmare straight from the beginning. We showed up on time ready to set out, however the most important person was late for work.. The Captain didn't even show up until day 2 of our cruise. So that set us back a day on our dives, it got even worse. "bad weather" grounded us back in port after only 3 dives. Except is it really bad weather when literally every other dive operation on the island is still diving? There is another liveaboard company on the island that offered their passengers 23 dives during this same week we were offered 3.. Sus? Ya we thought so too. So, either Aggressor II is the worst boat to go diving on the island with in anything but the most ideal weather. Or their captain made a bad call. Either one is not good. Our room service ceased as soon as we got back to the port. After a few days our trash was overflowing, our bed hadn't been made. When we brought the issues up with the company and asked for reimbursement their response was "too bad you should of had insurance". There was no acknowledgement of the Captain being late for work, no acknowledgement of their mistakes at all. I Will never do another Aggressor liveaboard. If researching liveaboards stay away from Aggressor no matter what. If going to Turks and Caicos check out Explorer, they were the other liveaboard.

The Aggressor crews are top notch! The diving in Belize is among the top 5 in all the places I've visited. The arrangements on board are comfortable, the food is of superior quality, and the crew bends over backwards to please. They are very service oriented. Nothing but good to say about the Aggressor III experience!

Des voleurs ! Ils ne retournent aucun message et n’ont aucun soutien client: notre voyage a été annulé pour des causes de restrictions d’entrées en Égypte (nous étions pourtant déjà allés) et cette compagnie pourtant AMÉRICAINE n’a jamais voulu rembourser un seul dollar ou même donner un crédit … ils ont eu l’arrogance d’ignorer nos messages mais de nous écrire pour nous demander d’annuler en plus afin de garder notre argent et RÉSERVER D’AUTRES CLIENTS par dessus notre réservation pour faire le double de profits… des voleurs comme nous en avons rarement vus. Impossible à croire d’une compagnie américaine. J’ai honte. Ne réservez jamais avec eux. Les mots me manquent.
