Very impressive! 5 stars much deserved, everything is is 5 stars..the restrooms, the picnic areas, the maintenance, the space, the lawn care...lots of awesome detail..it's about the size of a small truck stop. The vending prices are great. It is very modern!

Great secure clean rest area. There were 2 security staff members present at 3:30 am. Lots of parking. Very clean and spacious bathrooms. Vending machines. A place where you can stop overnight and feel safe.

Definitely one of the best welcome centers that I’ve ever stopped at. Very clean and well-maintained, the employees have a sense of ownership, they’re very helpful, and they seem to want to ensure that you enjoy your visit to the state. The area is beautiful and located in a position Approximately halfway between Atlanta and Montgomery so it’s a good rest up area. I would definitely recommend stopping here.

I enjoyed my time at this rest area, and the ladies at the front desk inside were very pleasant and helpful with pointing out the location of the maps and pamphlets about Alabama. The bathrooms were in great condition and clean. I'm not sure if you rest overnight but I wouldn't mind.

Nice quiet rest area with clean restrooms. It even has somewhat of a natural area for you to walk your dog 🐕 from a long trip. A dump station for the RV crowd. There is a parking area for Semis RVs,Horse Trailers etc. plenty of places to sit outdoors for some fresh air. Vending machines. Even has smoking 🚬 area with disposal. Be a good place just to take some time off the road stretch your legs and walk a minute. Even has lighted picnic areas for the early morning risers or night owls.

This place was absolutely gorgeous! The staff was friendly and helpful. It had really clean bathrooms, fully stocked, and vending machines that were also fully stocked and in working condition. I wish ALL rest stops were like this! ❤️

They have many pamphlets of the attractions around the state. They also have an electronic sign in book as well as a screen that will help you find different attractions.

Friendly Staff: The staff at the welcome center are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Even at 7am on a Friday! They go above and beyond to provide visitors with maps, brochures, and tips about local attractions. It’s clear they take pride in their state and are eager to share its hidden gems with newcomers.

Amenities: The center has clean restrooms, vending machines, and a wealth of information on everything from historical sites to outdoor activities. There’s also a lovely gift shop featuring local crafts and snacks, perfect for picking up a memento of your visit or a tasty treat for the road. My favorite was the large map with active weather and traffic data.
