We had a great time with Steve! He picked us up from port and we had three hours on the water; saw many humpback whales! A wonderful memory for our family! Highly recommend this private experience.

Our family Alaska cruise was wonderful, but the most memorable part of the week long cruise was the hours spent with Captain Steve. His love for the animals was abundant, but his care for the guests on his boat was even greater. Captain Steve was a great captain and showed us wonderful sites and animals. In addition, Captain Steve is a great person! You can feel his compassion for people and life! Thank you for the memories!!!

Our trip with captain Steve and Alaska Humpback Adventures was nothing short of amazing! Captain Steve was very accommodating to our family of four which includes two younger children. From start to finish the process was smooth and all details handled with ease by this company. We saw so many orcas and humpback whales throughout the entire trip and also other wildlife like sea lions/seals. The boat was spacious and well stocked with blankets, binoculars and snacks. The inside cabin was also nice for staying warm. You won’t regret booking with Alaska Humpback Adventures, it turned out to be our kids’ favorite part of their trip to Alaska, and we did a lot of other things!

Captain Steve of AHA was such an amazing whale watching tour guide and boat captain. Attention to details + kindness. From the moment you start interacting with Steve to arrange your whale adventure tour you know you made the right decision. Steve's knowledge of the water, the animals, the surrounding nature is unreal. You can sense this man loves where he lives and loves what he does. During my tour we were not disappointed -- we found several whales to watch (and learn about) plus stellar sea lions and other things. The boat was a real nice size - very personal and not crowed where you are having to fight over others for pictures, questions to be answered, etc. Thank you Captain Steve for a great afternoon out on the water. Captain Steve also provides so many other wonderful suggestions/recommendations of other things to do while visiting Juneau -- doesn't get any better than hearing it straight from a locals mouth!

Absolutely the best whale watching tour! We spent four hours with Captain Steve watching whales and enjoying the magnificent Alaska outdoors. The boat was perfect and provided and individualized intimate tour. Steve is amazing and we will certainly book again on our next trip.

Captain Steve was absolutely fantastic! Within 10 minutes we were watching a humpback lunge feed. He knew where to go, what to watch for and always was ensuring our experience was the best! Also, the boat was exceptional because it added to the personal effect. It’s not a large tourist boat where people are all over you. You always have an unimpeded view!!! He’s very knowledgeable and when we come back with others, this is where we’ll go!!!
