Our captain was falling asleep while piloting the boat back... we also did not receive a single filet of black cod even though we caught 8 and were charged enough to definitely cover the shipping costs.... but our boat "captain" did inform us that they were the best fish we could catch... guess they kept the. For themselves

We used this company to go on an expedition in June 2022 and they shipped our salmon a day early even though we specifically said we wouldn't be home until a certain date. A year later, all of the salmon that we had caught and had sent to us has gone bad because it was so poorly packaged (not airtight, not enough space in the bag for the vacuum sealer to adequately cover the fish and have extra give) and that is a huge disappointment. The experience of fishing was fun but their negligence in packaging and shipping has made it more frustration than it's worth

I would never use this company again! 1st they were 1 hour late for everyone who was on my cruise. Yes they gave an excuse of "we were at the wrong port". I call BS on that one as it's pretty hard to miss a cruise ship in a tiny port. Not to mention their directions tell us exactly where to go which is right off the ship. 2nd they cut our trip short by 1 1/2 hours with no credit or apologies. (1 hour late and then pulled us in 30 minutes earlier than stated. So our 5.5 hour fishing trip was actually less than 3 hours after over an hour of travel time.
I'm only giving them the 2 stars because the boat and gear was nice.

I was lucky enough to get a trip with captain Sandra. I have lived in alaska my whole life and have never witnessed anything this beautiful! Between the whales bubble feeding all around us and the blue sky and rainbows we constantly heard captain Sandra yell "fish on!!" Never a dull moment. Fish after fish. What an epic adventure. Sandra was amazing; I learned more that day fishing then all the other trips throughout my life. I will remember that day for the rest of my life. Thank you for the memories

The folks at ASA we're great! Carol and Pete we're very accommodating and helpful. Our Captain Joey was the best! She was patient with us and friendly and she helped me catch a 20# King Salmon. She is a keeper!

Captain Sandra was the best. We had 3 on our fishing trip and the boat was smooth sailing! Loved the snacks and my husband and stepfather loved to fish!
